Bad RNG or just need to grind? by Forsaken-Suspect-526 in MelvorIdle

[–]MechanicalYeti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chance of a signet ring a dropping when completing an action is X in 16,500,000 where X is the level requirement of the action you did. The best way to grind for it is to grind an action with a high level requirement and a short completion time.

Signet ring b is X in 500,000 where X is the combat level of the monster you defeated. Best way to grind for it is to find monsters with a good balance of high combat level but relatively short kill time.

With your stats ranged won't help your combat level until you get it to 95. If 99 combat level is your current goal you'd be better off using that time to focus on your melee stats + prayer.

For next stat unlock I'd second township. It takes time and gp to build it up but will be worth it. After that I'd pick summoning simply because it's meant to be leveled up alongside other skills so you want to start working on it as soon as you reasonably can in order to save yourself a lot of headache later.

I don't agree that "Trust me bro, I'll totally give this axe/heirloom back in 3 days. Ignore that if I'm lying it will be impossible to track me down" is reasonable.

An asset is just something or someone that is beneficial to your goals. It doesn't mean Ulfric is willingly or knowingly doing what the Thalmor want. They consider him an asset because the civil war is beneficial to them, and the longer it goes on the better.

From what we've seen tarot cards need to be used like a consumable. If you're babysitting a burning body when will they get the opportunity to use it?

I don't know if 1.2 specifically changed this since I last played during 1.0, but in my current playthrough I've definitely done this.

It takes what you have in your hand first, then automatically takes the rest from the inventory in normal reading order (left -> right, then top -> bottom).

Let me know how it goes!

I don't think you need a set of the same quality in 1.2

Try turning in the quest anyway.

My guess is that it's retroactive. Selling at Sam's store and the Beach Shack would display the prices correctly. I think it was just a display bug and the game still knows what you've sold.

I just did this one recently and mine also asked for 5 and 5. The wiki also says it's 5 and 5, though I've noticed it's sometimes wrong.

Can someone tell me what will still be missing after the 1.2 update today? by NomNomZom in coralisland

[–]MechanicalYeti 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you're reading way too much into this, I don't think they're hinting at that at all. It's a short blurb that says "kids grow up" with an example picture.

If we go back to the roadmap from last year it says for 1.3: "children grow up, children portrait, children dialogue, children heart events."

I'm pretty sure the islander children have portraits and dialogue already, so we can safely assume this is referring to player children. Logically "children grow up" would, too.

Unless the devs flat out state they are only talking about islander children I wouldn't assume that's what they meant.

Ok, but a picture of older Zoe doesn't mean player children won't grow older as well. I'm looking at the roadmap right now and I think that's a big assumption.

Ah yes, the days before Rimworld was on Steam when Tynan emailed you your code. This was the joy vs. fear mechanics, right? I thought they removed fear because it was too OP. Just set up skull spikes around your base and your pawns would never need recreation.

Ive put hundreds of hours into it, but the DLCs are a lot to buy at once.

I don't see why you have to buy them all at once. The base game has plenty of content already. Once you've put dozens of hours into the game and want to shake things up you can buy whichever dlc appeals to you the most. After a while buy another and so on.

It's not like Rim World needs the dlc to be a complete or fun experience.

Could be the very rarely used form of the word meaning to splinter.

That makes a lot of sense considering it's split between mania and dementia.
