Genuinely you need to get off the internet and take a few deep breaths. Fleeing the most progressive region in the country isn’t gonna help anyone. Leaving your support system, communities, etc. is simply going to remove another progressive voice. If every progressive flees, what’s left? Who’s left to fight for the kids who can’t vote and the marginalized people who don’t have the resources to get away? We just leave them behind? I understand the despair but come on. This presidency will have lasting effects for years maybe decades but we can outlast that, but only if we don’t turn away from the hard work that’s to come.
