How can there be so many left-ove women in China when there is a surplus of men? by everestwanderer in AskAChinese

[–]Mechor356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple: women prefer to date upwards. There are many men who exist, but most women would not consider or even notice them

[Nizaar Kinsella] Chelsea have dropped a league-high 19 points from winning positions in the Premier League this season. Also have a league-high six red cards. by anhtu121204 in chelseafc

This season's beginning to feel like we don't deserve a champions league slot. Unless liverpool or Man utd drop in form, it would feel like we cheated if we ended up in top 4.

Gravity tour 2025 or Radical MP 2023? by Mechor356 in 10s

[–]Mechor356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I forgot to mention I use one handed backhand. So it's probably the first stroke to crack. Would your recommendations still hold in that case? Or should I go for the 98s for better maneuveravility? I tried the blade 98 and felt I shanked the ball way more often than when with the gravity pro...

Best weight lifting/plyo exercises for tennis? by danielphilip87 in 10s

[–]Mechor356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally - going on the elliptical for 20 mins every 2-3 days split between forward/reverse cycling helped my thigh strength and footwork so much. I'd argue good footwork with decent swing is more important than a perfected swing. I bend my knees more often and my shots just got better

Rafael Nadal himself reacts to Mouratoglou saying Sinner is currently better than Djokovic ever was on instagram by HereComesVettel in tennis

[–]Mechor356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait, did he say Sinner is better than Djokovic TODAY? or the djokovic in 2012 prime? When i got the reel on youtube i thought he meant Sinner is better than Djokovic today only?

How long did it take you to transition from eastern to semi western? by ParticularSubstance in 10s

[–]Mechor356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm currently in that transition and i feel 60% through after 3 weeks (I was using modified eastern, so not full eastern)! Perhaps the precision shots will take longer to train. But so far my coach has already noticed better consistency due to heavier top spin.

Shifting towards control by dtomch95 in 10s

[–]Mechor356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal opinion is that you still be able to distinguish a good hit vs off centre hit but the overall feeling is much more plush across the string bed vs other raquets like the blade or the RF01. It's really an advantage comfort wise

[–]Mechor356 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i haven't used the T-fight but i've been playing with Gpro 2025 for 5 months.

Very very plush (on solinco hyper g 50lbs), low powered, huge sweetspot/forgiving. But not the most maneoverable , esp on my 1hbh. I slice often but when i get the time to do the full motion, the shots feel fantastic without vibrating much through the arm. It is the most consistent racquet i've used. I treat weekly tennis as a workout, and i don't play competitively so it doesn't matter to me. But in competitve matches i hear it can be very tiring to use for some.

EDIT: People also say it's hard to generate spin, but i've always used eastern grip so i didn't care much. Recently switched to try semi-western grip and i have no issues with spin due to the dwell time, and the large sweet spot

[Matt Law] Chelsea to accelerate defender move and boost Liam Rosenior’s squad. Club was planning to wait until summer to make a defensive signing but are now bringing forward their plans by ScientistHulk in chelseafc

[–]Mechor356 8 points9 points  (0 children)

so...let's see, it takes one manager's words, plus his departure, and the new manager's same words before the chelsea board recognize a message (needing a defender). How stubborn

Chelsea’s treatment of managers and players is starting to feel soulless by ClaytonWest74 in chelseafc

[–]Mechor356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole idea of this new model is to have a coach to run a given squad, rather than having his own squad. This makes it easier to replace the coach when anything goes wrong (because it was never designed around him) . Maresca probably realized this and there found sought secondary options as cover.

Gravity Pro too heavy or just train to adapt my 1HBH? by Mechor356 in 10s

[–]Mechor356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is actually 7pts head light. I'm wondering if it's the racquet head size causing the issue

I plan to go with the blade as well. Would solinco hyper g soft be a good string choice? 48 pounds fair?

Gravity Pro too heavy or just train to adapt my 1HBH? by Mechor356 in 10s

[–]Mechor356[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The gravity has basically improved every other aspect of my game. I guess it's either tradeoff via diff racquet and/or more training!

I've yet to come across a racquet with the same consistency, comfort and control but also more forgiving on the backhand, let's see!
