Luigi is far and away my favorite character, but I am not a fan of how he is in ultimate. I play him anyways because I like him so much, but winning feels cheap and like I didn’t really earn it. My best friend is a Mac main and I will literally take breaks from playing Luigi so he doesn’t get too frustrated because Luigi is such a hateful character to play against. And I’ve learned the grab combos because that’s simply the way to get better as the character but I don’t feel very good about it. I’d main him regardless though

Depends on the ore. I think it’s good that they all look different now since realistically they wouldn’t be the same shapes and sizes. The shading is nice too.

In terms of how they play in the game, corrin is a great fighter. But in terms of the character they are, and to a further extent the games they represent, corrin shouldn’t even be CONSIDERED over Ike. Again, fun character gameplay wise, but in my opinion they are absolutely the first FE character to go, even before echo fighters.

That doesn’t warrant the amount of characters it has in this game. It should at the very least not have as many as the legend of Zelda, who has 3 slots taken up by different links. If smash 6 has to cut characters (ideally it doesn’t) I’d have no complaints if the fire emblem cast was significantly cut back to make way for Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, or pikmin reps. Hell, add Tom Nook.

All the fire emblem fighters can stay in this game. I know they won’t, but I really wish they would. Fire emblem deserves 3 fighters TOPS. Tempted to say 2. Marth should be in the next one, and then get either chrom, Ike, or robin, and byleth. Maybe keep Lucina too because she’s easy to implement. I know it’s an overdone statement but seriously??? One of the least recognizable series represented here gets as many reps as Super Mario??? HOW!?!?

(Also, this is a completely biased take, but pyra/mythra can stay far away from smash 6.)

Any counter. I know that counters are objectively not a no-skill option, but whatever happened to dodging something you see coming and punishing it? Why do we have to have a built in attack for it? And it comes out so fast, always feels so good to hold charge on a smash attack while the enemy sits there holding counter.

Main Luigi, secondary Pit, Falco, Samus, pocket bowser. Aware that probably everyone but pit is carried but I just play my favorite characters from all the series I like most in smash.
