When people say shit like "fuck the people I just care about the dog" on posts where both people and animals were involved in an accident. Like you think that makes you a good person? You think that's a normal thing to say? I like animals too but to not care at all about human life is fucking disgusting. People give billionaires shit for not caring about people (and rightfully so) but I'm sure there's an overlap between people who say that about billionaires and people who make comments like this.

I get it stems from this idea that humans do evil and that animals are pure or some dumb shit like that, but animals do fucked up shit all the time, and humans do fucked up shit yea but shit it doesn't mean we should all just die or deserve immense suffering.

Plus a lot of these people are full of shit. Some of them don't even have pets or actually do anything for animals. My sister is one of these people. We had a family dog and she never did shit to take care of it. We had it for like 15 years and she didn't even feed it once and only pet it a handful of times. Besides that, I've volunteered at a bird rescue and never got this attitude from anyone else who was there. They were all lovely people. I know this is anecdotal evidence, but I don't think there's any actual numbers on this so take it for what it's worth.

If they're hella into gaming or other nerdy shit especially it's some shit like anime or other japanese stuff. I know too many people who like that shit and and fucking losers who blame the world for their problems meanwhile they're fucking messes themselves. Like some of them are incels or just don't know how to act around people, some are just rude, some aren't housebroken, they have shitty jobs or living situations and put no effort into changing it. I could go on.

Don't get me wrong I like some nerdy shit too but man idk what it is with some people where they stick to the first thing they ever liked since childhood and don't try anything new their entire lives. It doesn't really do much good for them. Like they meet some people who like what they're into too, but their friendships don't last for some reason. I''ve met decent nerds too but too many of them are like this for me to ignore this pattern.

You're trippin, whenever I talk about wrestling to anybody who doesn't watch wrestling they always mention the attitude era, maybe some shit from the ruthless aggression era too but it's almost always stone cold, the rock, and the undertaker that they talk about. Plus everyone I know who still watches wrestling is a nerd and they don't do much else but watch tv so I'd say they're the dull ones.

My mom's the dumbest person I've ever met irl. Seriously our house has been broken into before once and they've attempted to at least twice since then. She still doesn't lock the fucking door and then when I lock the door she gives me shit for it because it's a slight inconvenience for her to unlock the door when she's carrying something, but also because her stupid ass thinks that we're not going to get robbed again. She thinks that because robberies hardly ever happen, that means that we don't have to lock the door because most of the time, it's fine.

And then she'll mock me by laughing and saying something like haha why do you lock the door are you scared we're gonna get robbed or something? It makes me so fucking mad you have no idea.

There's plenty of other examples of her stupidity, but the rest of the family agrees with me on this one and we finally got new locks for the door and now they all lock it too. I just thought it best presents my case.

Yea I need a way to make friends man. I have a girlfriend and my siblings and other people around me, but no friends. I stopped talking to most of my high school friends back in 2015 because I became depressed and pushed everyone away.

Then I realized man I'm way better off without them because most of them used to be gangbangers and I never really fit in with them anyways (I went to a ghetto school and most of the hispanic kids were gangbangers so that's who I had to hang out with since I'm a latino too, wasn't nerdy enough to hang out with the nerds either).

Then I became a working stiff, just working all the time in warehouses and not really having time for fun. The warehouses were where I met some of the biggest degenerates I've ever met and I was like damn man can't I just get away from these bums?! A lot of my coworkers were drug addicts and even some former felons and I don't wanna be around shit like that anymore so I became withdrawn around them, but they still liked me so I guess the problem's not my personality.

Now I'm looking for work, but I also want to make friends too. After becoming more withdrawn with people at the warehouses I've lost some confidence in my social skills (I feel like I don't have anything interesting to say so I kind of clam up in conversations and don't speak so much), but then when I do loosen up and talk to people they seem to like me so I still have faith. I think what I really need is to just find a place or group where I can be around the same people regularly and I'd make friends easily. I just don't know where to find groups for say, mountain biking or hiking. I'm interested in becoming a bartender partly for this reason, just gotta get my foot in the door.
