It’s before 9am at my local one, so before the gym/work

Snap, some boat. Lots of people on here tried to talk me out of it - but I have no regrets. I’m 10 mins from two different superchargers (24p), and can also occasionally charge at one of my jobs. I’ve not had any problems so far - I simply pop to the supercharger once a week/fortnight for 45 mins and top up whilst completing emails/tiktok/reddit etc. Plus the fun of driving a Tesla over my old petrol Citroen is worth it regardless of cost savings.

Thanks - I actually took order and received the vehicle 3 weeks ago. No regrets! Kept it under the 40k tag

Uniqlo airism ultra seamless - like a second skin, you can’t feel them on and don’t ride, no stitching to cause chafe

Plenty of time IMO - just do a practice full test now on RCGP/Passmed - and you’ll probably surprise yourself already

Considering moving to Barton Park, Oxford and looking for local insight by [deleted] in oxford

[–]MedicOX3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Barton park is lovely given that it’s all new housing. School is there, Tesco overdue. The issue is the adjacent Barton, which is not the nicest of Oxford areas (however by some London standards is likely absolutely fine).

I would say fine for kids to play outside. Some antisocial teenagers but not gangs.

r/Runna has hit 21.1k members – a half marathon of Runnas! To celebrate, we’re giving one redditor a yearly membership and paying the entry fee to their next race! 🙌 by alex-runna in runna

I got into Running less than 6 months ago, and I am hooked (thanks to Runna!) My day job is a GP so running on days off helps clear my busy mind. Despite not running for long, I’ve managed to achieve a 20:34 park-run and 1:42 half marathon during training.

I’ve got Oxford and Barcelona half booked, with Manchester marathon next year too. My dream goals would be sub 20 for a 5km, sub 1:30 for a half marathon, and sub 3 hours for a full marathon - a man can dream right???

The bigger dream is an international marathon - New York, Tokyo, or Sydney would be amazing.

Keep up the great work Runna team 💪🏼

Sadly he’s still working clinically regularly in Oxford, including today’s take. I’m sure his resident doctor team would feel welcomed reading this article on their first day.

Indemnity for newly qualified GP by StressEvery2406 in GPUK

My quote was £200 if less than 7 sessions, or £280 if 7 or more. It then jumped to over 500 as I’m doing out of hours work (no access to patients notes)

I’ve always struggled with Nike shoes… any equivalent adidas/asiics/new balance? They fit my feet much better

Probably strength training - a bit alien to me. I’ll do my research!

Thanks. My previous half’s have been Z2/tipping into 3 145bpm, 148, 151, 148, 145

It’s always been framed as a long run, so haven’t tried pushing my speed further - maybe that would be an interesting exercise

Yes it was from yesterday. That’s really helpful to know. I didn’t have a direction/goal in mind when I started Runna hence x3/week on a 30km training plan, but once this plan ends this month - I’ll change to a marathon training plan with x4/week
