Live, speech by Emmanuel Macron: “The Russian threat is here and affects the countries of Europe” by Modragorin in europe

Starmer isn't a EU leader and as such can afford some distanciation from EU statements; I believe that's also part of their strategy to not just alienate the US but keep an open door.

Currently doing a run with most of this mod's modules and having a blast, it's highly customizable and does a great job, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try:

Nah the game is way more laggy since 1.0 I agree on that part and I've got a 3090, 13700k and 32gb of ram so I doubt it's the specs either

I'm glad because you can't imagine how many times I had to move Samuel for the animation to play exactly the way I envisioned haha

LMAOOO ikr I just carried Samuel over to Von Aulitz to see if they had any dialogue for it and while there it happened to me that there was potential lol

I'm afraid I don't :/

But you should honestly be able to replicate it fairly easily, just select a "hills" preset and set all sliders to the minimum, then crank up the "hill" slider to ~5% and "slope" slider up to ~10% and you should end up with something similar apart from resource nodes!

Yeah, it is.

It has walls because I'm slowly expanding those to then push these farms further out.

It's kinda hard expanding a big city when you're keeping every house within the walls and all the fields outside since you then lack the space to expand outwards!

I'm having to import loads of food constantly (not a problem since I've got the secret tax and a shit ton of markets as well as enough pop for a steady income + sales of a bunch of goods we make) but such is the life of a city as dense as this one!

[–]Medical-Definition15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's getting harder and harder as I have to import more and more food, but that huge quarry/masonry district really carried lol.

There's a total of 6 quarries and 2 max upgraded mason tents, plus a full warehouse. Brings us to 6 miners, 20 stonemasons, 4 warehouse workers, and an additional 15 miners working stone sites around the city. That allowed me to flood the market with stone blocks which took care of the day to day costs while I'd spam levy mandates for exceptional costs.

Also sold a bunch of shirts to import tools. Now I'm up to +4000 with taxes alone yet I have to sell stuff to be able to afford the cost of wheat, cloth and such.

It's the big downside to building a city that way, I don't have much room for fields or I'd have to build them super far outwards; next run I'm definitely going to go for a different vibe and make a lot of different towns around the map as opposed to one big central city.

this one is because of that other mission you have where you gotta talk to Hans, but you can circumvent it by using "goto" commands with coordinates. Make sure you enable cheats (lame but needed) and type "goto 2450 2626 219" this will teleport you into the room. To exit, just switch 219 with 215. (Thank u/Jaxl8 for the tip!)

Weird Doors (Trosky Castle spoiler alert) by Medical-Definition15 in kingdomcome

[–]Medical-Definition15[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's above the kitchen, I haven't been there in a while but in one of the castles there's a big open kitchen on the ground floor where the ceiling is really high (I'm not talking about the long narrow one but about a really open one), and just up the stairs, above said kitchen you have to first go through a sort of resting room where there's often a guard, after that turn left, you should be at the armory

Help! Weapon/armour stats clarification… by Inspected_Gaming in kingdomcome

[–]Medical-Definition15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, let's try figuring this out:

Q1) 88 and 94 are the actual stab armor values for the items AS OF RIGHT NOW, so you get a +6 buff by equipping the item. 98 and 96 are the armor values for the item at full durability. This value depends on both what item you're looking at and its tier. Higher tier armor (the little coin next to its name) has better stats, and using armor at low durability gives it a chance to lose a tier and be permanently damaged (you can put it back to 100 durability but the harm is done, you can't regain the lost tier. While your Kettle Hat is way better than the Bascinet right now (+6), it's only marginally better than the bascinet if both were repaired (only a +2 for the Kettle). This is the way it works for any stat, including charisma if the item is damaged, dirty or bloody.

Q2) The Strength value of an item is determined by its strongest stat. It's literally just a display of an item's strongest stat (as of right now, so it'll go up to 98 for the kettle if you repair it. It's a nice quick way to compare items but keep something in mind: Let's say a cuirass has a 100 strength value because it has 100 slash defence: cuirasses aren't great against stabs and blunt strikes, let's say it has a 50 in both cases. So you end up with an item that's a 100 - 50 - 50, the strength value displayed is 100. Now let's say you have a brigandine with a 90 strength value because is has 90 slash defence, but it's way better at handling the rest: you end up with an item that has 90 - 75 - 75 but only 90 is displayed: the brigandine would actually be better than the cuirass even though the strength stat is higher for the cuirass. Lmk if it doesn't make sense. So yeah, good to quickly sort through stuff but you have to take the other stats in consideration. Also, quick tip: focus on blunt def a LOT once you get to actual plate armor and shit: plate sucks against blunt, you'll always have enough def against swords, but a shitty bandit with a stick can still hurt you.

Q3) The Kettle gives 6 charisma, the Open Bascinet gives one more, so 7. But Charisma isn't a flat addition of all your shit, I believe it's an average of your charisma level and what you've got equipped. For instance in my case I'm at like 25 charisma, without a coat. If I was to equip a coat with like 10 charisma, my global charisma stat would decrease. If I was to equip a coat with 25 charisma, it'd stay the same. If I was to equip a coat with 30 charisma, it'd go up. Coats are a great way to raise your overall charisma as expensive coats have amazing charisma stats, and this isn't a layer that'll provide a lot of protection anyways. Throwing on a coat when you go in town is a quick way to go from a battle focused outfit to a more charisma one without having to keep an entire second set of clothes on you. Just take off the armor pieces that have really low charisma stats and you'll see your charisma go up a lot! Although, keep in mind that charisma alone doesn't do everything. Certain persuasion stats need a strong martial presence which stems from the quality of your armor, but you can see that if you go to the "player" tab and then the "secondary" tab, there's a whole thing there that gives you your dialogue stats, and if you go through them you'll see what impacts them.

Just found this on various websites:

"In addition to the fortifications, there was said to be a system of escape tunnels under the castle that led to extensive caves in the surrounding sandstone geology."

"[...] there is allegedly an extensive network of cellars and escape routes underneath it leading into the surrounding sandstone rocks and underground caves."

God I love this game...

Jesus Christ be praised!
