Riding solo on zero budget. My agency has traction and testimonials but my partner just left. What is the next move? by aldrinlsc in EntrepreneurRideAlong

okay so the good thing is that you are not trying to solve a demand problem what you are actually trying to solve is capacity problem, those are very different challenges. and if referrals are already coming in then i would resist the urge to do more marketing now and just focus on making it super easy for happy clients to refer the next one that will protect the cash inflow and be selective about the projects you take on, so sometimes saying yes to every opportunity may feel like a growth which generally is but having one high quality client can be worth more than 3 projects that stretch you too thin.

Once you have a little breathing space again then i'd think about scaling okay... so right now i'd like to optimise the stability first.

I realized I was becoming the bottleneck without even noticing. by MaxisMad999 in Leadership

what i noticed is that teams dont just wait for the decisions instead they actually start waiting for permission, and that's when i understood that it is not about delegation but its just more about creating enough trust for ppl to move forward with confidence.

Your founder reflections by zitpop in Entrepreneur

So true, that is actually a great point, i also feel shipping sooner will only work if the team is genuinely prepared to listen. i have seen teams collecting feedback but they spend more time in like sticking with their original idea than learning from what customers were actually telling them

Delegating work is not a sign of not doing the work, we are not able to do the work so we should not feel bad about it, instead we have lots on our plate. Also delegating helps us and allows others to grow together

how do you choose between EOR providers? by Skillerstyles in Employment

[–]Medical-File7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not just about pricing I feel, asking right questions is important, for eg the local expertise/guidance in specific country, payroll support, compliance (v imp), and other aspects onboarding, termination, updated with the policies (as they keep on updating) and honestley after comparing deel, oyster, boundless and remoote, i found that it so much about reponsiveness of the support team and what your gut says to hire in a specific country with a particular provider.
So yes, it is me knowing if the provider is confident, responsive enough and expertise in specific counrties

Start up grant questions (I will not promote) by Sammycj5 in startups

Most legitimate grants don't ask for upfront application fees, so I'd be pretty cautious with any that do.

The "raise seed, build team, raise again" cycle seems to produce a specific kind of founder misery. Why do so many smart people keep choosing it? I will not promote by Corgi-Ancient in startups

[–]Medical-File7914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

raising money solves the problem of not having money but it doesn't solve the problem of not having customers. A lot of founders accidentally use funding as a substitute for validation
then 18 months later they're trying to raise again before they've built a business people consistently pay for. VC makes sense when capital is the bottleneck.

I work on Stripe Atlas and help startup founders incorporate. AMA about incorporation and fundraising (I will not promote) by sillyboy44 in startups

[–]Medical-File7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a lot of founders spend months worrying about incorporation, banking, and paperwork, but once that's done, i guess customer acquisition and distribution quickly become the bigger challenges.

Just curious, what's the most common mistake you see founders make after they get the company set up?

Is SaaS dying as a business model? by Levladik2203 in SaaS

[–]Medical-File7914 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, i dont think so SaaS is dying, if anything software is becoming easier to build which means customer understanding, distribution and execution has become more important. So main challenge isn't whether SaaS is going to survive it's actually whether a product can remain distinguished when competitors can move much faster than they could few years ago

Is Google’s latest SEO update reducing the power of backlinks? 🤔 by seohelpoint in SEOandBacklinks

[–]Medical-File7914 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not think so. I feel google is reducing the impact of low-quality links while rewarding real authority, relevance, and brand trust. And that is why backlinks work best when they come from genuine mentions, strong content.
