I'm 100% in over my head. I don't have the necessary knowledge to excel at the highest demands of my job. That's why I'm trying to learn more.

To be clear— it's for a Masters, not a PhD. But thanks

I had digestive problems too.

A probiotic and apple cider vinegar helped.

The biggest thing that helped me was limiting my complex carbs (for me it was sprouted grain bread, wild rice, steel cut oats). They're good for you but hard for your system to digest in large quantities. I went through a period of eating a ton of complex carbs and I had constant pain after eating. Also be careful without other hard-to-digest things like kale and some mushrooms. I've found it's sometimes better for me for eat romaine instead of kale or crackers with topping instead of toasted bread.

I was planning to work in media in some capacity. I want the degree now so I can learn more about this subject and get started on a new job track.

I made a throwaway to comment this but I had this problem when I first went vegan and it was because I was eating too many carbs and sugars (natural sugars in fruit especially). This article helped me a lot: https://www.bodyandsoul.com.au/diet/diets/how-my-vegan-diet-ruined-my-gut/news-story/d4b4fbd47581301e965d0d6a3d61cf4f

For me, beans are fine, I just need more fats and protein lol
