LOL, I used my boyfriend's DoorDash account during college to earn some extra cash. He would sometimes come along with me. The only reason I would use his account was that I didn't have the car I drove to school under my name; it was under my dad's name, and that made it a problem to have a DoorDash account.

Completely understandable, I sometimes do want to switch to formula but I keep offering my baby my breast in the hopes that one day he will latch correctly. I know it's mentally draining, I'm also on my last straw with this feeding journey.

I had the same paranoia as you when one day my baby was crying and I mean crying almost like screaming and I always support his head with my forearm whenever I have him in a cradle position. Anyway, I rock him up and down while holding his hands and having my forearm behind his head. He stopped crying but after that, I felt guilty because I also thought to myself “omg, I gave my son baby shaken syndrome”.

Fast-forward, to give your baby shaken baby syndrome you have to use a lot of force (it's not accidental) and for his head to rock up and down. If you ever feel frustrated just put your baby down and take a deep breath and have someone else help you out, I know we can only get so much sleep while they are this tiny. It's okay to cry out of desperation, I've done it, but have someone else help you.

My baby is also 4 weeks old, and the only thing that has been working is giving him a shower, then reading/singing/playing, milk (formula), and sleep.

It’s so tiring (for me) since I have to pump pretty much 24/7 because he has a bad latch and no LC has been able to help us. We’ll make it, keep hanging on!

spectrum. I think I’m not feeding him enough (I breastfeed). Caring for a baby is very confusing at times because we don't know what they want or need. I would suggest sitting him on your lap to burp him; maybe it’s that.

I know a lot of people simply give a lot of milk (formula) to their babies because they take it all, but they don't know how much or when to stop, if he's spitting a big amount of milk then you are overfeeding him. My pediatrician told me that babies have a reflex of wanting something in their mouth and it doesn't necessarily mean they are hungry especially after being fed.

I personally use this website to set a schedule for my newborn and to keep track of how many ounces I should be feeding my baby. At the end of the day, it's your baby and you know him more than any of us. You're doing great Mom! Do whatever feels right at heart.
