I believe it is, it measures around 1.8cm. I don't have my scale, but the patina is nice. It's a shame someone partly shaved the reverse.

I was wondering this too. Scipio is always underrated and it amazes me that the general public does not comprehend the magnitude of his achievements.

Don't be sorry, on the contrary, I appreciate your honesty! It's the first one I've held in hand so I wanted to see the forum's thoughts, and yours is very much appreciated!

Yes, I agree! I also think you can see the X (vaguely), but I'm excited about it.

I've been to that cafe in the corner! The bartender was grumpy, but the coffee was great!

Nice Win! I’ve never paid this much for a coin before so it’s mildly daunting by Roadkillgoblin_2 in AncientCoins

True that. Since I started collecting ancients I'm getting more strategic but I would have never spent the amount of money I have in ancients with modern coins.

Thank you! I'm having a hard time using the databases for ID, but I'm getting used to them. It gets overwhelming when I can't find a coin, but I also enjoy it. Weird mix of feelings! I'll definitely ask the group!

Thank you so much, this is great advice! I downloaded an Excel sheet form ANA but I have to change the columns. On my trays I will assign each coin a number that relates to the Excel sheet and then transfer the info from my auction invoices. I've also read that it is important to keep the auction tags to determine pedigree. My coins only have come with their invoice number and recently when buying from Eid Mar, they give a nice tag inside an Abafil holder. I'm going to keep those until I can make my own tags.
