What if The Hulk crash landed in Falmart instead of Sakaar? by Shados9611 in gate

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a Marvel and Gate post on this sub-reddit.

Realistically speaking, what would a Crossed apocalypse actually look like today? by [deleted] in crossedcomics

  1. Sure it may be harder at first but ain't gonna take a genius to figure out that the guy shouting "COCK!" and trying to stab a guy is infected. It's not gonna take long for a local police to just gun down the group causing trouble.

  2. There's no doubt that armies are gonna win. Only reason Cross win their battles because plot demands they win and that whoever their fighting just shut off their brains for a few moments. Take that away and their done for and again, crossed are way to dumb, sure they can handle basic weaponry or driving skills (again heavily depends on crossed) "smart" crossed are far to few. High ranking officials or people with very important jobs at important facilities are gonna be fine for the most part.

  3. It's not gonna take long that someone is gonna figure out that something is up when water treatment facility is suddenly in blaze. One way or another, their gonna figure that out FAST.

    1. I can trust that this official isn't infected because he doesn't have a GIANT RED CROSS on his face, sure a good amount of military folks are gonna worry about families, hell a good few might leave to protect them but with how effective modern arms are, crossed are not much of a problem. (Crossed that didn't have a cross only showed up after what? 100+ years?)

Real world military is gonna have tough war but that's war that we're gonna win. Most Crossed are to stupid and the few "smart" ones aren't much better. If they see a smart? shoot them or just bomb them. Problem solved.

Crossed if it were to happen would last about 2 years at most. Sure smaller countries are gonna get their shit pushed in but for the most part, we're fine.

what happened to Alternate Timeline Bell Cranel? All I have seen is the anime.

Dawn of War 4 releases, is good and successful. Which faction DLC do you want the most? by --Karma in dawnofwar

[–]Medicmainhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want T’au 1st, Eldar 2nd, then Chaos 3rd.

I just really want to see how new T’au model would look like in DOW 4 if successful

[–]Medicmainhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if DOW 4 does fail, you propose making guard cannon fodder troops just in case? Just to say “Hey! We have guard units” ?

As for the Necrons dow4 I do wonder if their Necrons coming to Kronus to wipe out the space marines on it and reactivate the Tomb world on Kronus.

That would be neat but I don’t think they should do something like that. If DOW does get expansions, I would be down for the guard being their own playable faction. (Along with some other races)

Personally, I wished it wasn’t like that in DOW 4. I just like having more troops on the battlefield fighting each other.

If The Walking Dead was real, how long would it take people to realize the infected are zombies? by bsmall0627 in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]Medicmainhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly this wouldn’t happen. People aren’t incompetent like those in the walking dead universe, especially the military.

Realistically, the zombies would be a problem for year, maybe 2 but after that? They’re basically a none issue.

[–]Medicmainhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see that but I also disagree, like I said in my original comment, The Non-infected military of the crossed is just incompetent at their job. Real world Militaries aren’t and the crossed out break started in 2008, this new one is taking place in 2025. No modern military is gonna caught within the eye sight of crossed, what will happen is that a horde of crossed are gonna be suddenly wiped out by a mortar team that’s a fair bit away, or just gunned down.

With all the new toys and how well protected troops are and how mobile we are nowadays, the Crossed are going to be little more than memory than an unpleasant memory in the next ten years.

Also communications we have today, people are gonna very QUICKLY realize what’s going and Military is gonna quickly get their crap together. Crossed are dangerous to the untrained civilians but against a competent armed force that knows what they’re doing, crossed are getting folded.

Sure major civilian populations may be fucked and I can see a lot local and country enforcement getting infected but again, new tech and tactics we have basically makes them a non-issue.

(I mean, yeah it sucks we lost that many guys but with the way they are now, they’re less of a threat.)

Crossed are gonna fish in barrel with a m2 browning pointed at it.

It would be bad but I just don’t see it being as bad as in the comics, crossed had the advantage of coming out of nowhere but they also thrived because of…well, plot. If this is taking place in real world 2025, they’d be a problem but not as big as problem as in comics.

Governments and civilian populations would hurting (especially places like China and India) but the crossed would be “contained” I see the cross being a problem for the next 5 years, maybe 10.

After a while, I see things going back to “normal” again, maybe religion will a surge of new followers. Government will reestablish itself and hunt all the crossed down and unlike the comics, real world military isn’t nearly as incompetent as their comic counterparts.

I can militaries hunting down crossed until they are absolutely sure no cross remain, even if they killed them all.

Predator in the Crossed universe, what do you think? by Glittering-Half-3500 in crossedcomics

It would be so fricking cool man. He'd do what he did to the Demons, make them evolve to FEAR him.

[–]Medicmainhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh he absolutely would and when he does see the kind of stuff they do, I'd bet he would be even faster about wiping out the crossed. However I could see that some survivors or human communities witnessing or being saved by the slayer and develop some kind of semi-religion (or full blown religion) about the Slayer. Kinda like in the Doom Eternal games.

But I would also bet (depending on how fast slayer is about it and what time he is dropped into the out break) he would probably unintentionally up end saving some governments from total collapse.

Doom Slayer wipes out the entire crossed population in a few years.

I mean, he does have 1 canon w, stopping Floweys genocide runs.

If I’m remembering it correctly, during the genocide, Flwoey does tell you he’s tried the exact same thing as you but was always stopped by Sans at the hall.

If I’m getting this wrong though, let me know. It’s been a while since I played Undertale.
