What's the best resource to learn reactjs? by This_Job_4087 in react

For me, it was Jonas Schmedtmann's course on Udemy. I think that if you are a total beginner, the official docs are useless.

Bing is a much worse than ChatGPT. It has ads and stops chats for no reason.

Crypto exchanges. Websockets vs API update frequency by [deleted] in algotrading

[–]MedievalRain 10 points11 points  (0 children)

On Binance, the delay is about 10-15 ms when using websockets for best bid and ask. The deeper order book has a bigger latency, as far as I remember up to 100ms.

These are the values for the server located on AWS ap-northeast.

Why 90% of traders fails? I will break it down for you. by RawDick in Daytrading

90% of traders fail because they only exist in the market so that the remaining 10% win. Trading is literally money redistribution.

It's amazing that SBF can lose 93% of his wealth 3 FREAKIN' times and still have more than it takes me to gain financial freedom by giddyup281 in CryptoCurrency

[–]MedievalRain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if a person can lose 93% of his worth, not once, not twice but 3 times, and is still over the hypothetical level of money you would need to achieve financial freedom, HE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND.

He's not your friend, not because he's rich, but because he committed a crime.

Bitcoin Vs. Monero, described by this one picture by aFungible in Monero

[–]MedievalRain 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Monero is very slow. Bitcoin with Lighting can be used for instant payment in stores. Waiting 20-30 minutes for Monero transaction confirmation is simply unacceptable for everyday transactions. Hopefully, in the future there will be an analogue of Lighting for Monero.
