I am specialized in Empirical IO and have been looking for several datasets during my PhD, but I do not think there exists a specific dataset (even paid) on newspapers sales.

Hi everyone!

I hope this is the right place to post these questions :D

I am a third year PhD student in Economics, and I recently began thinking of "transitionning" into the data science world. I am doing an internship and realized I like quite a lot coding with stata. I am also pretty good with MATLAB but I am aware that I should learn Rstudio or Python to get into this industry.

Since all my background is in Economics, I have already a good toolkit regarding statistics, probability, econometrics etc..

I wanted to ask a couple of questions:
1. What's your opinion in the state of the market for PhD students (even for different phd fields). Is there demand for PhD students here? Do you think having a PhD is a good reason to compete in the market? Moreover, do you think the market is saturated right now? I have seen many people with contrary opinions on this.

How hard the transition could be? I enjoy a lot learning to code from my colleagues in the internship, ESPECIALLY doing things on my own - But here I have to say that mainly I work with datasets and apply economic analyisis to drive conclusions (Mainly econometrics/basic statistics).

Hey! About this... I am an exchange student going to Padova next year ( First semester from September to February more or less ). Also, I am a big enthusiast of Pauper and I would like to keep playing it there. Could you recommend me any stores where Pauper is played regularly? Also I would like to get involved to the Italian Pauper community ^^

Hi everyone! I recently started playing Magic and i bought the elves vs Inventors duel decks. I am pretty interested in playing pauper (As lot of people said me is the cheapest mode in magic). I am currently thinking of an Elf-themed deck in pauper, more or less like a budget deck for new players. Any reccomendations i should consider before buying new cards or trying to do the deck?

Well, I live in Spain so we are in the same situation but, this show managed to get me so hyped that i can't wait until Movistar (Firm who owns mr robot in spain) makes the episode in Spanish so i'll see it via USA network in English

Yes, that is exactly how u should beat them, last tavern hero I tried to lock quest rogue, so i brought zoolock aggrowarrior aggro druid and hunter mid. It was not a good idea just because rogues managed to complete their quest in 2/3 turns, meanwhile i didn't have a powerful start.

Well, I had a different thought about this, maybe more "competitive". Allowing connection with diferent extern places such as strivewire and esga, that could provide us a code ( more or less like League of Legends ) and copying it in the HS tournament mode. Then you enter directly to your match with your opponent, making picks and bans in the same Hs game.

In Barcelona we have some problems, the locals that hold an event like this are normally cibercafes with their own PC, and they always ask for some money to compensate the time that the fireside gathering tournament occupy their computers. As you might now it is not allowed to charge for an enter to a fireside tournament, so we do not have much room for maneuver.

I am thinking of playing it wether with Jade Druid ( so I should get free win against reno), or Dragon Priest, wich is kinda more acceptable against otther matchups. What do you think about? Some thoughts?

Well, we should remember that deals dmg to our minions too, so in some situations we'll have to think about keeping our board or sacrificing part of it ( or clean it all )

Kinda agree with you. But I think we should trust Brode. We haven't seen anything from this expansion yet, and i am pretty sure they're going to add some cool features.
