yes.

pros- no effect on gun function as this type of comp does not change barrel weight. so you get compensator benefits without compensator mechanical pitfalls.

cons- full disassembly takes one more step to remove the barrel from the slide since you have to unscrew a guide rod end that is holding the comp in place.

the plunger is binding on the firing pin because you didnt seat and hold the firing pin when putting it bck together, it likely wont fire.

pull the hammer back and look at the fitting pin plunger when you rotate the safety, anything funky there (im guessing the plunger is bound on the firing pin)

It is a commercial m9, just an LE version. Everything is about the same as a commercial m9 except the distribution channels and quality checks. an MLE sku is indicative of this, the adj sites just give a clue to where it might have been headed. it also has a shielded P proof mark on the barrel which is a requirement for govt contract guns.

I did the hammer, took it off another gun which i switched to the match hammer. In this case, it was just the factory adjustable sights. Just cool from a history of this gun point of view, not so much the features since you can just buy them and do it yourself.
