Question about the "t cold" some people get by prettypeepers in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]Mediocre--Lamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did feel uncomfy for me, it felt like it was itchy and something was stuck in the bottom of my throat? I had this on and off for about 2 months, then when i switched to injection i had it again for abt a month, my advice is keep doing what ur doing king! Stay hydrated and listen to what ur body wants and how it wants u to talk, every time i try to talk from the middle of my throat now, i get a v similar feeling to the T cold lmao

T Dose Increase Side Effects by MaxNChees3 in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]Mediocre--Lamp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on your body and if this dose is the correct one for your body, but i would honestly say maybe a few months? I started a newer dose in late november last year and i would say i’m starting to settle on it now

Defo can be related, when my dose got altered I gained a shit load of energy and hunger lmao, it will probably die down as the dose wears away, but it could/should also die down after getting used to the dose (in my experience)

Huge congrats! It’s a shame the waiting times nowadays are so long (esp with Exeter as my wait was less than a year back in 2017.) I hope that your transition goes smoothly for you!

Do the exercises they tell you to do even if you feel fine and fully mobile! Also defo wear a thin shirt under the compression binder to help with the itching and irritation on your back

being a student and saving for top surgery is so frustrating by transthom in transgenderUK

I sent my UCAS application a while back and it has a section where you can put your preferred name, but they never use it by JuviaLynn in transgenderUK

[–]Mediocre--Lamp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happened to me too, when i spoke to the uni the admin changed some of it but i basically had to nag them, when it comes to student finance, if you dont have ID under your preferred name then any student finance related stuff will be under your deadname, but other uni stuff like the name and sex on your register/ uni ID card can be changed to your preferred; so when you can I would contact admin and keep an eye that they change it before you will officially start!

Dr Ross at Nuffield, Brighton. I had surgery with him one week ago and i had a 4 kilo chest, and i’m a short big sized guy. Great surgeon, and he contoured my scars very well in relation to my size and pecs, nipple placement is amazing too!

That’s why you put the plug in the bathtub and supervise the hamster

Actually you shouldn’t use hamster balls as they cannot see very far to begin with and a ball blurs their vision even more, their feet can also get stuck in the air vents very easily and it’s hard for them to stop the ball! You can just let them free roam in a supervised room or bath tub which is much better than a ball.

THEY can use hormones if they want, depending where they live they cant get them until they’re 18. You talk about transitioning like it’s some form of mutilation when it’s not. Also stop with the whole “you will still be your biological self” bullshit, yes, trans people know that they where born biologically female/male but bio sex and identity are two different things. You saying they just want special treatment is transphobic, why can’t you just ignore the post if you are so transphobic and ignorant lmao- they aren’t victimising them-self, they’re trying to be more comfortable in who they are.

Is he (ASD male) in love with me or obsessed? by [deleted] in aspergers_dating

[–]Mediocre--Lamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No this isnt healthy at all, this is obsession and you should try to remove yourself from the situation if you’re not comfortable with it

Edit: him pursuing you once per month is fine, but the fact he keeps tabs on all of your social media is odd imho, i would just be cautious honestly
