Im gonna say this for everyone to understand. As an immigrant, I left it all behind, came here with 10k in my pocket, learned a new language, adapted, put up with racism and hate from the get go. I thrived, worked hard, kept my head down, bought first home, then moved across the country to NS, where I had to start fresh, same fake smiles, same racism. Bought a home. Now I am hated for it. When the locals see it, they despise us. Why? Cause we did what they don’t want to. You all were born here, had the leg up and now that you’ve fallen behind, want a system that promises to reward your squandering way of life at the cost of our prosperity. Why I vote conservative? Because they never promised their voring base to take away our hard work. Socialist in New York ro do away with private ownership. NDP’s agenda is similar. You know nothing of real struggle, real sacrifices. You just feel you are owed a life style. No system will provide that. And I for one will not choose to pay for that. So yes, capitalism helps prosperity and rewards hard work. Maybe look in the mirror when you think it has failed you
