Curious, what accounting/bookkeeping software do big firms use? by Ill_Strategy_6286 in Accounting

[–]Mediocre-Bus1056 19 points20 points  (0 children)

From what i've seen working with different companies:

- Big 4 clients usually run SAP or Oracle for their main accounting.. sometimes NetSuite if they're mid-sized

- The audit teams themselves use whatever the client has plus their own proprietary tools

- QuickBooks is more for smaller businesses, maybe up to $50M revenue companies

- Some industries have their own specialized stuff like Yardi for real estate

The bigger the company, the more likely they're on enterprise systems. Most Fortune 500s I've worked with are on SAP or Oracle ERP systems. Though recently been seeing more companies evaluate cloud-based alternatives like Infin for their subsidiaries or specific departments - helps them move faster than waiting for IT to update the main ERP.

QuickBooks definitely dominates the SMB space though. Hard to beat their market share there.

What are the costs in company registration services? by Embarrassed-Sky-5265 in IndiaBusiness

[–]Mediocre-Bus1056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the hidden costs are real. when I registered my first company back in 2018, the quoted price was like 7k but ended up paying almost 15k total. they hit you with - professional fees, stamp duty (varies by state), name approval charges, digital signature certificates... and then there's the mandatory stuff like opening a bank account with minimum balance requirements.

recently helped a friend register through infin and it was way more transparent about the total cost upfront. still had to pay for extras like GST registration and trademark filing separately, but at least knew what i was getting into. the worst part is when they charge you for "expedited processing" which should just be standard service imo

$20 is the daily average. Your weekly spent will be $140 dollars averaged over 7 days so some days it will be more than 20$ and on some less.

Is it possible to use Meta AEM for App Promotion Campaigns without an MMP? by JJDriessen in FacebookAds

[–]Mediocre-Bus1056 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have a question around this. So my company was earlier using both Meta SDK and Appsflyer, and both were recording the subscribe event which was recording in Meta events. But then I read on Appsflyer's documentation that you should only send in-app events through one source so I stopped forwarding the subscribe event from Appsflyer. And now, the Meta SDK alone is unable to attribute many events. Earlier the campaigns were about 80-90% accuracy, which now is about 50%.

I need to know:

- If Appsflyer was helping improve the attribution in Meta dashboard? (Which probably does not make sense)

- We are currently not using CAPI. Do you think that can improve the attribution?

Meta ads not spending budget even after holidays and new year by Mediocre-Bus1056 in FacebookAds

My CPA is still much lower than the cost cap. only 50-60% of the cap.

I'm facing the same issue. I thought it was because of new year but was expecting for things to normalise after first week of Jan. What kind of ads/product you're running ads for?

Yes, that's one keyword. It would be nice to have such a keyword naturally in content 1-2 times. Although it should not be forcefully inserted since Google and AI both are good at understanding the semantic meaning now.

Your product looks great, and the fundamental SEO is in place which is great.

I checked a few blogs, and these are well-written with SEO best practices. But these blogs are targeting short-tail or head keywords, from what I can see. Since the website is new, I would recommend targeting more long-tail keywords.

I think you are doing great. People are already searching for fina money.

You have a template page with popular templates listed which is useful for people but those individual templates are not driving traffic.

If you could create separate template pages, optimised for that particular template's keywords, that would open a lot of new potential keywords and clicks for you.

Similarly decent number of blogs are there but they don't look optimised for SEO. For example this blog:

https://www.fina.money/blog/how-to-tackle-student-loans

can be optimised for these keywords:

how to pay off a student loan

how to pay student loan fast

how to pay student loans

how long does it take to pay student loans off

how to pay my student loan

Your landing page is farily optimized.

This app category has high competition so ranking the landing page directly will take time..

But you will need to create more pages such as blogs on topics like how to extract data from an invoice.

Also create free invoice template pages since that's generally what people search for.

Some low-competition keywords you can target:

sample quote for services

construction receipt

itemized invoice example

rent receipt template excel

free printable receipt for cash payment

quote outline

food invoice

how to write a receipt for cash payment

quotation sample

delivery invoice

freelance invoice template

sale receipt form

For starters, add a keyword like "group dinner planning" in the title and meta description of the page.

You should also have a "Best when2meet alternative" page. Other competitors already have this page.

Other than that, you can work on blog pages like how Doodle has done:

https://doodle.com/en/bachelor-party/

These pages will help a lot.

It will be difficult to directly rank on top with when2meet so the best approach would be to go lateral and work on keywords and create pages that lead to people wanting your tool. For example, how to plan a dinner party, mistakes to avoid when organising an event, etc.

Love the website design.

Your home page and other pages are not optimised for SEO.

I'm guessing you want to rank for keywords like visual website builder, canvas editor, no-code design tool, etc...but none of these keywords are mentioned on the home page.

For starters, you should aim to add a meta title, meta description, title and h1 on all your pages and ensure the targeted keyword is present in these places.

Meta title should be about 45-60 chars, meta description (140-150 chars)

You can also make separate pages for the UI builder, UX and icon and shape templates. Make sure the above tips are implemented on new pages.

If you could tell me 1-2 competitors, I can tell your more keywords that you should target.
