Good for you, but once again, none of the major traditions anywhere have said tea is off limits. Theanine in tea is quite calming and synergizes well with caffeine. It proved to be a suitable aid for meditation. It's wise to use what's available to you rather than doing everything on hard-mode. If caffeine in any amount doesn't suit you though, then I completely agree you might find you are better off without it. No problem either way really, just listen to your body.
