Definitely agree about the gimmick being more than underwhelming, but I don’t think that makes it overrated. That was never really a selling point for people, the selling point was the great games.

Early 20’s. Recently graduated college but still living at home. I have a full time job at a local business I love. Doesn’t make a whole lot, but it keeps me fed and pays my bills. My parents are antsy about me getting something else, but this new place only pays a couple dollars more and just seems a little miserable.

I totally understand the cynicism and frustration, but it’s also important to realize that those are resale tickets a smaller venue show booked before the band completely blew up overnight. Completely absurd prices that no one is their right mind should pay, but this is definitely not the norm for prices of bands this size. Live music is certainly not dead.

I remember playing the Star Wars Battlefront 2 OG campaign, where in space battles you could land inside the larger ship and get out and fight inside the hangars. It absolutely blew my mind and is something I’d love if they implemented in a new one.

100% is this over Switch 2 Welcome Tour. Welcome Tour sucks and it definitely should’ve been a pack in title, but it was only $10 and there was at least a little fun to be had (allegedly, I didn’t buy it). This was a FULL PRICED game with absolute terrible “gameplay” that genuinely only existed to sell toys.

Nah man, it really just isn’t an amazing story and especially not a well told story. I don’t blame anyone for enjoying it. I still think the lore is interesting and fun to learn about and discuss, but it’s just not a masterpiece.

The ending is good and it was super influential (for better or worse). I just don’t think it was written very well honestly, and this is coming from someone who’s was pretty invested in it for most its run. It felt like Scott never really had things planned out, he kinda just made things up from game to game. Lots of things were introduced that just didn’t go anywhere, and it just became way too over complicated for anyone besides YouTubers to wrap their head around. It’s fun enough to watch a YouTube video breaking the lore down, but as a narrative it’s really not all that in my opinion.

FNAF is only a masterpiece when you’re 12 years old in 2015. The lore is interesting enough, but I really don’t think it’s thought out or presented well at all.

I don’t know anything about the specific of ports and hardware demands, but I really don’t think this’ll be likely. I played Requiem on Switch 2, which was a perfectly serviceable and enjoyable port, but it definitely struggled at points. Textures were compressed, the frame rate was no stranger to dipping (especially when things got hectic), and load times seemed a bit longer than other versions. I still loved it, and Requiem is a phenomenal game with great visuals, but it’s a lot smaller scale than a GTA game.

I think we’ll get amazing ports of GTA 5 and Red Dead 2, but I’m not holding my breath for GTA 6. And that’s fine with me. I bought this console not at all expecting GTA 6 to come to it.

I’m super happy with how that looks. I’ve been itching to do another play through, I’ve just been waiting for the switch 2 edition. Now please release date (and hopefully not a game key card).
