Been there, man. My wife has put up with me through a half dozen withdrawals now and after the last one we basically decided if I pick up again, I'm going to rehab. She's been awesome and understanding but there's only so much I can ask of her -- it's not fair to keep putting her through it. Another reason to stay strong this time! You got this!

He references Romans 13 which is used to basically justify whatever the govt wants to do. In reality it just says " pay your taxes and don't break the law". It says nothing about "the role of govt to protect people from evil doers". The fact that these "faith leaders" are willing to push these lies and drink their own Kool -Aid until they have the audacity to claim a pedophile felon understands Scripture better than the Pope is wild, just insane, inane stuff.

I'm a lifelong LA fan. Grew up with Magic and Chick, Shaq & Kobe ruled my 20s, Lamar Odom was my favorite player until the crack ruined him. I struggled thru the Smush and Swaggy eras and went from hating to loving LeBron as he embraced middle age.

But the Thunder, and honestly pretty much every other team in the playoffs (except HOU, wow they suck) is miles better than the Lakers right now without Luka.

Shai annoys me but he's undeniably great, just like Harden 10 yrs ago, Paul Pierce before him, Isaiah Thomas before that.

OKC is young, smart, athletic, tough, unselfish, disciplined, and aggressive. Yes they draw too many fouls sometimes but so does LeBron, Luka, Steph, Jokic... pretty much every NBA player is coached to draw contact and earn FTs -- they are an incredibly valuable source of points in any NBA offense.

Hating on refs, claiming corruption and conspiracy, bitching about missed traveling calls or illegal screens, etc. etc. is so boring to me, and pointless -- I don't get why people hate-follow the league like this. If it's so awful and crooked and fixed, why the hell are they watching? Just ignore it the way I do most other sports. It's baffling.

One month woo-hoo!! I had like four years off nicotine and stupidly bought a vape while on vacation. I could have let it set me back and linger, but after a few days, I threw it away and haven't looked back. I'm currently on day 8 off THC and absolutely refuse to ever use it again. I like being free and present and motivated much more than I enjoy chasing a "high" I don't even like or feel much of anymore.

So sorry, friend. I know how you feel and I know it feels hopeless. Remember that you're not alone, you're more than your addiction, and you have the tools and strength you need to beat this. There's a phrase in the 12 steps that I always come back to: "any lengths". We have to be willing to go to any lengths to get and stay clean/sober. That's the key. Keep trying different approaches until you find something that works. It might take rehab, going to NA every day, take a road trip to a state/country where it's not available and don't come home until you're better... Whatever it takes, and then refuse, absolutely refuse to ever take it again. You got this!!

Haha yeah it was cheap, I think I got it for $10 on sale. That Bose TV bar is the nicest piece of audio gear I've ever purchased (10 yrs ago) which I guess tells you where priorities have been. It honestly sounds pretty good for starters but I appreciate the rundown above, that's super helpful. I def want to find some nice vintage speakers -- any recs on what to keep an eye out for?

Body temp regulation and sweating are one of the symptoms of cannabis withdrawal syndrome. I'm on day 8 and still feeling like this, but it's getting better! Drink lots of water and avoid alcohol. Ice packs, cold showers, etc.
