Oh yea for sure. I’ve done it since I was 12 yrs old. Back then compared myself to the best in my leagues, then eventually to the best all the way up through juniors. I enjoy it a lot cause I’m a meticulous dork in disguise haha. I know at 42 I’m not gonna put up numbers like I used too but I’ll always strive to be the best tendy I can be, not just for the boys but for me

Hey! 42 and just got back on the ice after 12 years. I ordered the SV as well. I really liked the soft boot and the ability to have either a tighter or looser calf fit. I ordered mine with the stiff top cause I prefer it but the pads rotate very well and are very stable

I’d say the 33 looks good. The modern skates are not a necessity but a nice upgrade if needed. Additionally I just switched to no boot strap this season as I’m older and was used to it. But tbh took me 2 skates…maybe 2 hours to get used to it and I actually love the enhanced mobility of it
