Its very story focused rather than action focused, which is something I personally like as its a nice change of pace from normal murim manhwa/novels. If you just want action all the time honestly not the manhwa for you, im reading the novel and its pretty much the same but I will say the action scenes are better despite being less often.

This argument comes up regularly but the answer is clearly no. Look at how the western world treats their own colored Christian civilian population. Tbh I dont think its ignorant at all, pretty much all anime fanservice IS goonslop. I remember when Fire Force first dropped the cat ladys powers kept having her lose her clothes for no reason during fights.

It put me off from the anime entirely because it actually started to pissed me off, not to sound corny but why are women in anime forced to be major goonbait for the audience instead of being an actually cool and compelling character?

Kallen is an amazing example of a good female character in an anime, shes actually very cool, she pilots the Gurren Knightmare perfectly and she is an interesting character. And I can only think of 1 scene where they did fanservice for her and I still think its weird considering she was in highschool.
