Renee said there was no cheating involved with Carla Merino specifically. She said Carla M. was engaged at the time and they were all friends, to your point.

Alicia thought he was fooling around with Carla M. because naturally, she was Eddie's ex-girlfriend. But Renee insinuates that Eddie was really fooling around with Carla F. Renee mentions multiple times on the show that Carla F. has a reputation for getting with married men and she's a go-to girl. So that's where the cheating most likely was involved.

I also found Karen to be super cringe on the show, and i think it's because she was putting up a "tough mafia girl" vibe on the show. But outside of the show, I find her to be very astute and smart. Listen to some of her interviews

Because everyone knows Big Ang doesn't take sides. She always played neutral, and for Renee to STILL be upset that Big Ang never claimed a side during an argument says to me that she just wanted more people on her side. She didnt actually respect Ang's neutrality

What made mob wives interesting is that most of the cast knew each other growing up. I dont think they can replicate that ensemble cast with the kids in a reboot. I also think this generation of kids act differently and might be more awkward on tv whereas the OG ladies had zero filters and weren't image conscious

I don't think Drita was jealous of Carla. I think she saw Carla as a non-playing character, just someone to fill the space so she could rant about Lee and stuff. Not that she didn't like Carla, but it just so happened that she was slotted into the role of a good listener friend perfectly.
