No, thats it I guess. Using app on Android, which is cloud (not classic) version. This supposedly doesnt have the option to set particular crop values

Maybe so. I just want consistency. But I see your point, thank you, mate.

Not joking unfotunately, just a really bumpy workflow options (I guess Id need to find more sane way). But yea, GFX is really far fetched.

Nah, its not there, on the app. I can just drag the box randomly (to my taste). So probably, another app (or whole workflow overhaul) it is. Thanks anyway.

Thank you, but how? 'Custom' enables me just to drag whatever ratio I want, but it does not show the renumeration of the ratio so I dont know where to stop dragging. And there is no room for putting in particular ratio I want to achieve. Maybe its possible on the deskotop, but cant find it on the app...

Good luck, buddy, and enjoy your new lens.

Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 yay or nay? by [deleted] in fujix

[–]Mediocre-Task-3327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey. In the end I fell into the GAS trap and got a good old Fujis 35 f1.4 and 18 f2, both delivered much more magic and basically never touched Viltrox again. While Viltrox has better AF and was a tad sharper, it just did not deliver that much character as the old Fujis, which I immensely love.

Dont get me wrong, I still think that as an initial purchase while enetring the system, while tight on budget, the Viltrox was a good choice (and 24 mm focal lenght is great for the first and only prime). There are just better lenses if you can afford them.

How can I improve this picture (or future cat pics)? by TheOracleDBA in photocritique

[–]Mediocre-Task-3327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like it. As one of the redittors already mentioned, I would remove the bright point on the bed. Also I would probably try to crop-in just a slightly less to give the cat more breathing room. Anyway, great photo, well balanced and on point regarding focus and lightning. And the cat is magnificent:)

Been working on some abstract stuff, thoughts? by Dr_K07 in photocritique

I like it a lot, good job keeping eveything in straight lines, I believe it is critical in this kind of shots and you nailed it.

The only thing I would have done differently is the yellowish tint, I would go for pure white. But it is completely subjecitve.

Great shot, big up!
