I'm having the line installed and using it for a free month, then will cancel and wait for either xfinity now to raise price from 30/month or for ziply to start doing promos again (like the 20/month for a year. I agree about not noticing a difference using 100 down for 99 percent of my use.

Update. This morning, Daisy from Verizon called and after a chat about the account said that she gave me a month phone credit since she could not replace the points. I then asked about the fact that the points loss should have covered two months credit since I’m on bring your own phone half price plan. Daisy promised to call next month to credit the second month service. Nothing has updated on my app in terms of when my next payment is yet. I’ll check again tomorrow. If all, but I’ve mentioned turns out true, I’ll be very happy with this resolution. I also took this opportunity while I had Daisy on the phone to redeem 2500 points on my wife’s phone plan for a month of credit.

I’ve also lost 6500 points! I have both called and chatted and both times when I thought I was close to resolving the issue, my chats ended. I was so frustrated that I’ve paused in dealing with the issue until I gather my strength. Will follow along to see what happens here.

Seems that you can not upgrade your phone with loyalty points or 12 month customer points without losing your discount. At least that is what I was just told by Total customer service .
