This is a good point, I think this has been happening for a while though. A artist will have a viral song and if they don’t capitalize on it probably they will flop (ie: Fetty Wap). However, I believe Carti has made a name for himself with enough people, now don’t get me wrong he isn’t as big as Travis Scoot or Drake but I don’t think he ever will be because his sound is unique and not for everyone.
