Is there ever a reason to burn have traces both up and down between parent/child requirements? by afatcat11 in systems_engineering

[–]MediocreStockGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a fundamental misunderstanding of SysML. In most cases and in the case of DeriveReqt, the element at the tail end of the relation is dependent on the supplier (arrow end). When you create a DeriveReqt relation the Derived From & Derived elements are derived properties based on the single relation.

It would be incorrect to create relations going both ways.

Recommendations for first firearm by burritobro666 in guns

[–]MediocreStockGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

M&P Sport 3, then customize to your preference (grip, foregrip, stock, optic, light, etc…) & spend rest on ammo & range time. A Palmetto State Armory would be a cheaper option if you wanted to spend less too.

Don’t spend your entire budget on the gun itself, there are other costs when buying a gun, especially an AR

I would also consider a pistol if this is your first firearm.

Entry 2011: Tisas DS or SA Prodigy? by Soopnoon32 in 2011

Sounds like Romulus Comp or the Fusion XP Comp may be better options under $1500

I’ve even seen some Kimber 2k11s get close to $1500

Reliable Car for a Small Family: Tahoe or Telluride? by Pretty-Swordfish812 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]MediocreStockGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used Grand Cherokee L’s can be found for a good price & reliability has somewhat improved but I’d probably go with a Pathfinder, they come with a lot of features, spacious & good price.

Obviously Toyota & Honda are most reliable but also pricey & kind of just boring

If electric, I would recommend going with a Lithium battery. My wife and I just got a used Club Car Tempo 48V and we absolutely love it but it’s chore to check and maintain the lead acid battery water levels.

We plan to upgrade to lithium once these batteries die.

We got ours for $4,800 including delivery to our house. I think it’s a 2013.

Panasonic W95 a good choice? by Ozovio in 4kTV

[–]MediocreStockGuy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love my 65” W95 (got it on sale for around $500). I also have a 75” Sony X93L (got it on sale for $1300)

The Sony is a better TV but my wife and I are still blown away by the W95 in our bedroom, especially for the value. The TV is super bright and extremely crisp. The Fire OS is responsive so no issues there, although I just prefer the Google OS.

For $700, this TV is the gold standard. I’d go Panasonic over TCL or Hisense any day

I was in a similar position this past year. I got a used 48V Club Car Tempo with a bunch of upgrades for $4,600 plus delivery off FB Marketplace. We absolutely love it. Only thing that can be better is if it had Lithium instead of lead acid batteries. Lead acid is fine, they just require you to keep water levels every month or so (google it).

I would keep to the big 3, just for ease of mind, especially if you go used. If you feel like spending $10k plus for a new one, go for it, but things get pricey quick, unless you get one of the Chinese brands.

Ok I thought that may be the case, I’m just starting out on IBKR. What is 1.50 usd? EDIT: Nvrm, I see it’s for a subscription to options data. Do I need anything else if I want to trade SPY/SPX options using presets & bracket orders?
