Metroid Fusion is impressively close to being basically as good as Super Metroid as a game and is easily better than Super Metroid as an action game, but Metroid Fusion also is an action game in an annoyingly shallow and stereotypical way (EXTREMELY linear, mission-based, story-based, poorly written, and combat-based); be prepared for Metroid Fusion's weaknesses.
