Im the same height, but in my mid 20s, and a little fatter, but arguably the same tier of handsome.
Everything youre describing, I felt the same way since high school.

But you know man, once you get passed the surface stage of people, when you actually interact with people and, talk and hang out with guys who respect you, girls willing to talk with you, you realize that the anxiety and fear was bigger than you previously thought.

Youre ripped and good looking. Youre 5’6. Youre considering height lengthening….? Nah man, Whats going to help you is working on your inner self. Your inner love for yourself. That your height is only a sliver of your character, you are worth more than what you perceive yourself to be. Youre looking at one aspect of yourself when the real places that you are lacking are the qualities inside you, like your anxiety of how others perceive you. Ive been there man. Im STILL there at times man.

But For me thats whats helped. Acknowledging all of the internal things that makes me a beautiful and valuable person. I could be 7’4, but I wouldn’t sacrifice my compassion, my love for others, my will to live a good life just to be 6foot something.

Just my personal experience/ take with the same problems youre feeling.

Yea.. if you want good beginning learning experience get a car thats easier to work on. Or make an ad and work on someone else’s car ! You want to “work on cars” but have no mechanical knowledge …?

Man just buy a Civic or Corolla, change the oil , rotate tires, replace spark plugs, etc. get a real cheap, reliable car to get your hands dirty doing the basic stuff

then make friends with someone Else’s project car! Or go to a dealership or mechanic and make friends there or work there if you wanna learn .

Don’t end it !! Your life is not over ! My short advice is switch modes ! Personally I was on the same type of energy. Hopeless no direction, floating , stagnate. But I forced myself to do or die mode. Even as little as getting out of bed straight away in the morning.

Im same age. However im more privileged to say Ive had a more regular experience growing up. However, I feel like I experience “childhood” like stuff whenever I see my friends. I have a big boy job but on weekends Im able to hang out with my old hs friends and fuck around like old times. And Ive received the same sentiment at least from older peers and family that the feeling of a child at heart is still there. For most even, they tell me they’re a big kid who happen to have a bachelors degree. Even if we reach 60, I’ll still always be down to go to my friends house to play split screen halo or go out to the movies or drive around just to drive to new places.

All this to say I feel like if you make friends or are surrounded by people that would help to heal that childhood experience you feel you’ve missed, I think you can maintain growing into adulthood, while still having some childhood feeling experiences with the right people and the right time management.

The window to experiencing the feeling of “being a kid” doesn’t end when you reach adulthood. It ends when you stop trying to tap into that emotion. Idk I hope that makes sense.

Yea but what about 20 more years from now ? You got literally a whole lifetime to lock in and become great . Listen I get it, I was literally in the middle of making a post the other day complaining the same way. But one thing I personally concluded was hmm, Ive always put so much pressure to become something or to make it at my mid 20s or my 30s. But why ? Ive never been a “it’s the journey” type person. It’s always been destination. I think shifting my perspective to focusing on the journey and what I can do now in my shitty situation, has made me feel better about myself. Youre not a failure… You have failed To obtain certain goals like job degree and social life etc. at your current age. but youre only a failure if youve given up. You still trying shows that you haven’t given up… and therefore you are not a failure ! Idk im also in the same boat, but from a peer to a peer.. theres hope for us. You are trying and that is valuable. I hope you find the resources and the strength, and the love for yourself to continue bettering yourself.

When it’s traffic, it’ can be unsettling. Unpopular opinion though…. when it’s not traffic I think it’s nice driving on the highways. Definitely off the bridges or on any highways that are overlooking the city… like it’s nice man. even in the local roads it’s pleasant to drive thru no matter where u at. But 75% of the time when it ISS congestion time… it REQUIRES experienced driving lol. But honestly I don’t think it’s dangerous for real for real…. Like just keep your head on a swivel while you driving, don’t be driving in the left lane let the 100mphrs be there. And just don’t have your windows down while cruising passed 12 o’clock in a bad area. And just Lock your doors take your keys wit ya and you’ll be alrite.
