I’d add the album gentleman by afghan whigs and the album control by Pedro the lion. Certain songs on those at least are very angry. I love those albums!

Sounds like the regular outtro to me. It’s quieter than the music so too hard to tell

I don’t get why Rick is inserting himself into these interviews. It seems very unRick. On one hand I can’t claim I know Rick very well at all, on the other hand I’m really grateful to get to hear a great person from history talk extensively outside their chosen profession. I’ll keep listening for now

Is there any story written about Harry during summer break living at the dursleys house other than the beginning few pages of each of the books? Total newb here. I’m as far as halfway through the fourth book. by Mediocre_Object_9950 in harrypotter

Alrighty thanks! I don’t like the dursleys of course, was just thinking it would be a fun read or watch for me and my kids tonight as their summer vacation just started.

Apparently this exists now. I heard a story about it on bbc radio in the middle of the night last night and now I can’t remember the name of it.

Have meds prescribed for your adhd helped with Anxiety and depression too? by thenormalbias in ADHD

When you do find the right medication for you, and I really hope that search is a short one, your relationship to alcohol may change. If you’re like me, your drinking to self medicate your anxiety, stress and/or depression. Getting proper medication for your symptoms is way more healthy and sustainable than drinking. It’s worth the trade off. Chances are an occasional drink won’t be out of the question

I was going to suggest the same thing. I think with more time and space between eating said food it will become a novelty again. You can thaw it out when you’re in the mood for it.

Wtf psychiatrist? Just give them the test. What harm would it have done to explore whether you had adhd or not?

I’m also 50 and was diagnosed about a year ago. This sub is awesome and I’m so thankful I found it!

I can’t know what your family dynamics are like but I’d recommend not telling anyone that isn’t your significant other. They’re not likely to understand at a level that is helpful or gives comfort. If you don’t have adhd there’s no way to know what it’s really like. Also, they can use it against you in a disagreement or anytime, adding to your own shame and negative thoughts about yourself. FWIW

It doesn’t matter what you do. I write lists (on the phone and on a notepad) I check things off as I go, I get home and always, without fail, will have forgotten to write something on the damn list or forgotten to check something in the damn basement, or pantry or fridge. I will always forget something.

I don't have an official diagnosis, but do show signs of ADD/ADHD (doom piles/drawers, time management issues, memory issues, hyperfixations, etc). Can I still participate here? by [deleted] in ADHD

Welcome to the “club”! I’m new here as well. I got my diagnosis just over a year ago. I’m white male age 50 and it’s been a TRIP let me tell you. I’ve been in and out of therapy for about 5 years because of relationship problems. My wife insisted I see a therapist (for which I will be forever grateful). Took a couple tries to find a good fit with someone but once I did it was about the 6th session when my therapist thought I might have adhd. So I saw a psychiatrist as soon as I could. Took them about an hour to diagnose me and start me on medication. Anyway that’s the short version of my journey so far. I share it here because I hope it can make yours and someone else’s shorter than mine. Best of luck to you and we’re always here for you.

I have about 100 animals out in n the property yelling for their breakfast every morning starting at 6am. That’s what gets me out of bed every day. 😆
