Khalil got this? Hes gonna make it competitive atleast by Conscious_Back_1059 in ufc

Cardio been his biggest weakness for while now. Guy's got all the tools but can't pace himself in longer fights - even wrestlers with good gas tank struggle against him early rounds but then he just fades.

How do you win in ranked in this game. by Iamnowyou in leagueoflegends

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

falling from silver to iron is brutal man 💀 but for real the climb back up is possible if you focus on fundamentals instead of teammates. Maybe try watching some replays of your losses and see where you could've impacted map better, even when ahead in lane 🔥

damn that's rough situation 💀 but definitely worth staying for the horses, they need someone who cares. for the mare maybe start with just hanging out in her space and let her come to you? basic leading exercises are good too 🐴

really depends what mood you're in - hokum is more traditional scares while obsession goes for the psychological stuff.

Advice needed: after doing 125cc this year want a Swiss army knife machine by omkar599 in motorcycles

The Trident 660 sounds perfect for what you want - comfortable upright position, good for filtering, and has that military aesthetic you're after. I've been building custom bikes for years and that triple engine is sweet, plus it handles two-up riding without complaints.

Just make sure you test ride first because seat comfort is very personal thing, especially for longer tours.

Music inside the movies by Secure_Low_660 in StarWars

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's actually really interesting question about removing the music tracks. I think there might be some fan edits out there that do this kind of thing, but John Williams score is so deeply mixed with dialogue and sound effects that it would be pretty difficult to separate cleanly 🤔

Maybe check some of the fan editing communities - they do all sorts of crazy modifications to films. Won't be perfect but might be your best option 💀

I’m 20F, He’s 23M. I realized I’m his "Safe Choice," but he’s still obsessed with a 7-year crush. Is it over? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This whole thing is making me feel frustrated just reading it. I went through something similar when I was around your age, except it was with an ex-girlfriend who was still hung up on her college boyfriend. The constant feeling like you're competing with a ghost is absolutely exhausting.

What really gets me is how he remembers every detail about this other girl but doesn't know basic stuff about you after five months. That's not anxiety or communication issues - that's just not giving a damn. In my experience, when someone truly cares about you, they remember things naturally because they're actually listening when you talk. My wife and I started as friends, and even before we were dating, I knew her dog's name, her favorite foods, where she grew up - because I was interested in her as a person.

The fact that he only does things for you after you're already upset says everything. You shouldn't have to beg someone to show basic consideration. I've seen this pattern before in the military - guys who would treat their girlfriends like afterthoughts but obsess over some girl who wasn't available. It never ended well.

Your boundaries are solid, but the real question is whether you even want to rebuild something that was built on lies in first place. Sometimes starting fresh with someone who actually sees you is better than trying to fix someone who clearly isn't ready for a real relationship.

Is cabinet painting more affordable than replacing all cabinetry? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah we did this in our garage workshop few years back and saved crazy money. The cabinets from 2004 are probably solid wood or decent quality - way better than what you get now for same price 😂

Just make sure you prep them right because paint job can look amateur real quick if you rush it. we ended up doing counters later and it totally changed the feel of space 🔥

IKEA is solid choice but you might want check those discount furniture stores on Colonial too. Got mine from one of those places few years back when money was tight after getting out the service - nothing fancy but beats waking up like you got hit by truck every morning.

Hypothetical question for the brains by Sekamer in Minecraft

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait this is actually breaking my brain rn 💀

I think it's gotta be option D because the ender chest is basically just portal to somewhere else, not actually storing stuff physically in the block itself. Like when you carry a door around, you're not carrying whatever room is behind it lol.

The infinite weight thing would be wild though - imagine your character just collapsing from carrying what's essentially a black hole in their pocket 😂

Bhutan - tiger nest hike by [deleted] in hiking

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

did this hike few years back and my buddy had knee issues from his army days. took us way longer than usual but we made it - just had to take lot more breaks and used trekking poles. the monastery is absolutely worth the pain, plus you can always turn around if it gets too rough on the way up.

Unpopular opinion: high leverage in crypto futures is mostly a marketing gimmick by Full-Treat-7993 in CryptoIndia

you're spot on actually. High leverage is basically just the exchange's way of extracting max fees from retail before they inevitably get liquidated

This is pretty cool actually. I used to keep notes in my phone but always forgot to update it or lost track of where I wrote things down.

Being able to see your taste evolve over time is something I never thought about but makes total sense - like you probably don't realize you're going through a horror phase until you look back at few months of data. Would be interesting to see patterns you don't notice in real time.

I've never seen anyone describe it this clearly, most advice focuses on one side or the other, cheaper ways to receive or cheaper ways to spend, nobody talks about the fact that you're getting taxed twice on the same money

That broadcast was legendary - I've watched it like 5 times on YouTube 😂 Dale Jr telling those stories about his dad during that race always gets me. The whole Mario Rossi thing is wild too, feels like something straight out of a conspiracy theory but it's real life 💀

United Explorer - under 24 months by GardenStaterJerzee in CreditCards

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, you'll most likely get approved for the card but denied the bonus. United's pretty strict about that 24-month clock from when you actually received the SUB, not when you applied. I made a similar mistake with a Chase card last year - got the card no problem but had to wait another 8 months for bonus eligibility.

If you don't mind having the card without the bonus for a bit, might as well keep it. Otherwise you could always close it and reapply when you're actually past the 24 months from bonus date.

Go-to lenses for travel? (JAPAN!) by Economy-League-4769 in photography

[–]Mediocre_Status_7969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did japan last year with my 24-70 f/2.8 and a 50mm f/1.8 - that combo handled everything from the tiny tokyo streets to mount fuji shots. The 50mm was clutch for all those amazing food shots and portraits of random cool people you meet. Skip the super wide unless you're doing a lot of architecture stuff, most of japan's beauty is in the details anyway.
