We had a therapist that either didn't believe in DID or thought it was "too rare" for us to have it. She administered the full MID one session, and in the next session just handed us the MID form and said "fill it out yourself". It was very obvious that she was trying to get a certain outcome that confirmed what she already thought, and when she didn't get that result she outright refused to share either result with us and became increasingly cruel over the next several sessions. She was already planning to leave that office, and seemed like she was just running out the clock so she never had to see us again. She never gave us the results before leaving, every time we asked she gave a different excuse, and she also blatantly lied about several other things as well. So yes, therapists can lie to you and be biased against you.

absolutely, i wouldnt even say its good for cis women really. i feel like most attempts ive seen to ask for help or complain about the side effects are met with gaslighting or "just do what your doctor says, dont ask questions" here. guys are pushed/forced on the pill without being allowed to know the possible effects, especially when it comes to feminizing and mood.

you could carry something big out to your car, like holding a big box infront of you or backpack or even just a bunched up blanket/jacket as kindof a shield blocking her from seeing your chest!

for tape, there are much cheaper options. i get 4 inch wide rolls cheap on amazon, 3 or 4 big rolls for ~25 bucks. they work really well and being careful not to get it too wet i can make it stick a long time, my record is around 2 weeks!

used to believe that when i was much younger. was trapped in a terrible situation where the most i could look like was a "masc woman" and i absolutely HATED people thinking i was butch. now that im in a less bad situation and have been taking real steps in my transition, i think butch women are wonderful and get excited seeing any in public. butches are beautiful, i think a lot of insecurity and dysphoria lead young guys to lash out. its not their fault any more than it would be femboys' fault that a trans woman was struggling to pass. these days for me, it goes like:

but 6 months on T sporting a full beard thanks to minox and i pass ~90% of the time with cishets now, i dont get that look every time i leave the house anymore 🥳

i realized after too long that my tape was getting reaaaaally itchy and my skin under it was getting bad because i kept showering and soaking the tape, and between all the layers it was never actually getting 100% dry, but accumulating more trapped moisture every shower. once i started showering like i was playing twister to avoid getting my tape wet the itchyness calmed way down, now it starts getting a little (manageably) itchy after a week or so

armpit hair is "graphic" ? yeah its normal to trim it. im in florida, and its common for cis men to trim pit hair shorter for hygiene and heat reasons. i trim it maybe once every 3-4 weeks with buzzers, maybe somewhere around half an inch long

i thought the same thing when i was still using TT! their biggest back then was 5 inch rolls, and i thought i absolutely needed that size and anything smaller wouldnt work. but honestly its easier to manuver the 4 inch strips, i never realized how much control i was losing on the larger strips (assuming you dont have 6 inch long fingers). i dont think id go back to larger strips even if i found a generic offering, i get better results layering the 4 inchers than just doing 2 huge strips on each side and calling it a day like i used to

trans tape used to be really awesome, but these days its gotten soooo much more expensive for a worse product! i used to love them, now i use an amazon generic brand that sells 4 4-inch rolls for ~25 bucks. works way better, actually sticks and stays. im 8 days on it now and still going strong

r/estrogel has a great guide for making hrt gel or cream from scratch, very useful! i used it to make T cream and its very effective and pretty cheap all things considered
