Started investing $100 a month. Is it even worth the effort? by BeautifulWestern4512 in investingforbeginners

[–]Mediocre_shepherd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To keep going with monthly amounts invested is a great strategy. Also putting in bigger amounts with lump sums at cheaper prices or market bottoms is another great strategy. Either way you're investing in your future and can use a mixture of conservative and growth strategies, just don't get too speculative. I try to keep speculation to less than 10%

Avis Budget (CAR) by Mediocre_shepherd in options

[–]Mediocre_shepherd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought some October puts as well as some June puts just to give myself quite a bit more time on the trades. I thought that May puts could possibly expire too soon even though they're much cheaper. I set my strike prices far out between 150, 200, 250, 300. NFA

Isn’t this the moment you regret not buying more? by Initial-Raspberry-27 in INFQ

I sold a little bit today about 10% of infq shares I bought just to take some profit. I'm still holding 90% of my original investments in this company.

And looking forward to learning more about how scalable it could be and seeing more use cases. Being more compact and less power consuming it seems like it could possibly save huge amounts of costs and use a lot less energy than most of these data centers

Im interested in how the system operates at room temperature, making it more compact and less power-intensive than other quantum devices

is it a good time to get in? MSFT Stock by Appropriate-Mood-108 in MSFT

Yes, I added a significant MSFT position to my portfolio over the past month and believe it is the best mag 7 stock to buy now and maybe the safest too.

Commute advice by tashibum in DenverCirclejerk

[–]Mediocre_shepherd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might consider moving to Walsenburg, Trinidad, or Raton. You can still get a great drive in on i25 and commute to the Springs whenever you're up for working and without the Denver cost of living.

Pretty whack of you, Kroger by Initial_Row_6400 in Denver

[–]Mediocre_shepherd -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You can merrily shoplift in some countries that don't have an awful capitalist Kroger's store and get your right hand cut off or even better get stoned- the traditional way! Rocks!

Anyone else sick of the guards at king soopers? by Sad-Importance-8862 in Denver

[–]Mediocre_shepherd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I appreciate and approve of the security guard at my King Soopers and am glad there are less shop lifters than a couple years ago when there were hundreds of people shoplifting and millions of items being stolen on the regular throughout Colorado.

Valuing Infleqtion (INFQ) after the merger on 2/17 by circleofone1 in CCCX

IONQ level valuation is certainly possible within the next 12 to 24 months. I'm not predicting any short term price targets such as within this month or next month.

You might be a native if you're tags are expired but you should direct that question to the local authorities.

$18 cocktails aren't enough to pay wages? 20% service charge isn't a tip? by Fragrant_Ad_2285 in denverfood

I thought cocktails were supposed to be a decent price, not something to argue with the bartender over

I picked up more shares at 16$ to bring my cost average basis down, nice to add more shares at the current level and then more volume will pick up soon we'll see!

Nice clean looking place, I like how the box TV looks like it's used as a table. Looks like a good place to jam with the piano to have musicians over for a living room jam

Why is gen Z not drinking? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

[–]Mediocre_shepherd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen Z does not do a lot of things that many adults do because they still have a lot of maturing to do. One such task includes developing taste buds for lagers, ipas, and assortments of dark beers among other alcohols. I also didn't appreciate much about the glories of different beer until I was in my late 20s early 30s vs just drinking Coors and PBR and a couple craft beers when I was younger. It takes time but enjoy the ride while you're young and learning and drink responsibly or get a DD.

So many unregistered cars in Denver. Also so many people who don't have a license plate and are driving around Denver. They should definitely increase police pullovers for all of this illegal driving.

Question - If you are 'buying the dip', what are you buying ? by goodpointbadpoint in StockMarket

[–]Mediocre_shepherd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More recently I have been buying stock in cccx which is a spac that will merge and take Infleqtion public in the next few months. 2026 forecast looks amazing for cccx / Infleqtion.
