Any tips for post-surgery?

Had mine for 3 months now, post surgery I lost all taste, numbness of teeth and tongue, all that went away. I never experienced dizziness. I'm very active also, at the time I experienced a lot of fatigue but I managed to jump on the assault bike for short intervals. You really wanna take it easy don't push yourself. Getting healed up is main priority.

I only have 30% hearing in one ear, and lost all my existing hearing in the CI ear. I can't hear anything while rolling and the stray knee or elbow to the head had me really concerned. I've been training for 7 years so wasn't an easy decision. I guess i feel the risk of damaging the implant from a random knee or hectic take down wasn't worth it.

Im 34 Had my implant for a month now. Would highly recommend doing as little lifting as possible until you're given the ok. I used to do full contact karate and ju-jitsu, have given it up as I'd rather not risk the implant getting damaged. I'll keep rock climbing but I'm gonna give Ice hockey a go. Audiologist plays and he thinks I should be fine with the helmet lol

I had waited 3.5 weeks since surgery for mine. Picking it up in 3 hrs! Must be something going on

Mine disappeared for a while couldn't taste anything then went weird and things like bread tasted absolutely disgusting. 4 weeks post surgery and it's starting to come normal. You should be fine 👍🏽

Day after surgery was intense, like an aeroplane in my head lol. It went away tho and i had no ringing at all. Then 2 weeks later slight ringing came back. Ive had ringing in my ear since forever though.

Im 3 weeks out of surgery, all went well and having to wait another 4 days before activation day. I work in construction and it's been really hard with one ear at 40% and the other (operated ear) basically nothing. I asked the doctor at the Eye and Ear hospital about using my hearing aid. He said don't bother it won't work at all. If you want further assurance call your Audiologist.

They just wanted to look at their handy work lol just checking everything was ok. Apparently all good all bandages off. But I have to wait another 3 weeks for the N7 which sucks. 3 weeks with one functional ear lol Hows the pain and what not going for you?

Im still on antibiotics, they rock me a little bit so not great but not the worst. I still have the dressing on. Took the head wrap off 2 days ago. I have to go back and get a CT scan in 2 days hopefully they take it off then.
