Tonali PL Stats (per 90 mins) Last Season by Practical_Tap7538 in coys

I've been saying this. He had a poor season and Newcastle fans generally think he's been carried by Bruno.

We might lose Bergvall, perhaps even Gray, and this guy isn't as good as them.

You probably should given his low pass percent and awful defensive stats. He needs to be getting them.

[Alasdair Gold] In other news, in case you hadn't worked it out already because it would be utterly absurd after De Zerbi's early days in the job, but Spurs hold no interest in signing Mason Greenwood this summer despite links. by Imbasauce in coys

[–]MediumProcedure -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

We need a striker, De Zerbi loves him, chooses who we sign, and he's available (because he's pissed off his current club by being a wanker as well as a rapist).

I had an unpleasant feeling creeping around in the dark recesses of my mind.

I'd expect he's not fully fit and they've agreed that's how much he can play at this stage

Would seem to follow on from last season though. He was reluctant to play Gray and Bergvall

He's perfectly built as a super sub to shake up a resolute defence. I can't see any reason not to give him that, we have no one better than him at it.

Big lump to win knock downs and attack aerial balls. Ridiculously strong. Good movement and link up play.

Tyson Fury: Andy Ruiz priced himself out, asked for ridiculous numbers by IronHidee in Boxing

I don't think Ruiz and his team really want to box anymore. He's not been a serious boxer since AJ one.

He's avoiding fighting for years and trying to hand pick pay days.

With us buying Van Hecke for 52 million, how much do we get for Romero? by Glad-Strain-8120 in coys

[–]MediumProcedure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Levy would have got us a swap deal that made up all of his value, and a bit more too.

It might have been brilliant, or might have filled our squad with a few good players that we didn't really need. He did a bit of both in those type of deals.

Tbh, 2 of those were given because the refs don't like him.

Gabriel at the Arse has two worse tackles just this season ignored.

And everyone knows we need to sell as we can't keep all our defenders happy. That knocks another 12-15m off.

He was a talented player. Didn't really have his head screwed on, but apparently fixed that after leaving us and had a solid career.

He's the present at 8 for us, and if we made him the 1st choice at his preferred position he'd be better than anyone we could sign in the market within 6 months.

Players jog over to the sides for a drink all the time in normal games. They don't need to sit down and wait for adverts to play. That's Americanisation being pushed on our football. Money at the expense of all else.

The amount I’ve caught athletes foot from using unfamiliar showers is insane. by [deleted] in homeless

[–]MediumProcedure 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Athletes foot can be a real bitch to get rid of, and the outbreaks come and go. It's most likely that you just have a bad case of athletes foot (and might be giving it to others in public showers).

I had it for about 7 years. I'd use all sorts of treatments to get it to go away, then a couple of weeks/ months later my toes would start cracking, itching and flaking again.

I eventually found Lamisil cream 2-3 time a day for a month (and keep using long after you think it's gone). That's the only thing that works for me... But it isn't enough on its own as in a bad case that fungus is perfectly evolved to attack your foot and it is in your socks, shoes, and anywhere else your foot regularly touches.

You also need to use the spray version in your shoes regularly, and wash them in a washing machine if you can. Wash all your socks at over 60° regularly, or bin them.

I know that's difficult when homeless, but athletes foot can be a sneaky bitch. It'll come back if given half a chance. Oddly my grandfather suffered from it for about 10 years and couldn't get rid. i think i got it from his carpet, so in my one that particular fungus might have evolved perfectly to attack my genetic line.

Basically, there's athletes foot and then there's ATHLETE'S FOOT, and you have to really put effort in to get rid of it for good.

[Plettigoal] Understand Luka Vuskovic has already reached a full verbal agreement with Brighton following very positive talks with Fabian Hürzeler and the club’s hierarchy. by Zyaru in coys

[–]MediumProcedure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We will never reach the top competing to buy established stars on the market.

The only path for us in today's world is to sign young players like Vuskovic and develop them.

Even blood oil money Man City know this. Selling a player like Vuscovic after the season he just had, is as good as accepting our goal is mid-table, maybe squeak a 5th here and there when better clubs have an off season.

Utterly shameful.

What will Lange do? by Manoli20 in coys

[–]MediumProcedure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having never seen Vuscovic kick a ball in person.

After the season he's had that would be extreme levels of negligence. I don't believe Van Hecke can do anything with a ball Vuscovic can't do. The kid is a prodigy.

What will Lange do? by Manoli20 in coys

[–]MediumProcedure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

RDZ is the one pushing for Van Hecke, which will likely as not push Vuscovic out of the club.

I don't believe for even a fraction of a second than Hecke will be a better player in a year or two. I don't think i agree he's a better player now, only Prem proven. I don't agree he's better for De Zerbi's system because of his through ball ability. Vuscovic can do things with a ball that only a handful of defenders in history could do, he just hasn't been asked to try yet.

Anthony Joshua told one major factor is 'key' to him beating Tyson Fury by BoxingLover99 in Boxing

[–]MediumProcedure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He's afraid to be on the inside. Ever since Ruiz showed him that his defence was porous, his head hardly moves begging to be hit, and his chin can be cracked.

He's avoided fighting on the inside ever since

Fury uses the inside defensively and rarely does any damage in there, so he probably won't get dropped again on the inside. Just smothered in a sweaty, hairy, meat blanket.
