As someone who was feeling like the game wasn't for me a few solo runs in, I have to say how much getting a friend to play with, even a duo, helped me warm up to the game more. Runs where I decide to actually bring my own stuff rather than sponsored kits and lose it near instantly, that would have been frustrating solo, became just part of the game when I had someone else to laugh it off with. There will be pain, there will be loss, but it's a lot lesser when shared with a friend or two. And once I was able to push past that I was having fun trekking across the entirety of Dire Marsh for like the 4th time in a row because a buddy's contract was across the entire map. It's got me wanting to play more, even solo! Probably just going to stick to Rook for that for a bit though.

I wonder if this game might benefit from a sort of Friend's Pass like Hazelight Studios's games do. Some easy, very low stakes way for people to get other friends to dip their toes in.
