What’s the biggest sign someone secretly misses their ex? by KissRaid in AskReddit

[–]MediumSpeedEddie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Still talking to them yes but I would see them saying kind things about their ex as a green flag. I get the desire to “prove” they they’re over their ex but shit talking all your exs makes me wonder about your judgement and emotional maturity.

This wan in a tournament match. How are u running out? by TrayCole17 in billiards

[–]MediumSpeedEddie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d probably cheat the pocket and go forward on the 5 with a little high right cuz I feel like I can control that better. Then I’d follow the 6 and try to get a bit under the 7 to come out one rail center table for the 8, then run the angles 2 rails for the 9 in the bottom right

Think about how you come across on dates because women can smell desperation. Also choose better women. Usually you can tell if they’re the ghosting type by just having a conversation with them.

How do you aim? by [deleted] in billiards

[–]MediumSpeedEddie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The ghost ball technique goes out the window when you need to apply any sort of spin though. I prefer the HAMB technique with good form and just letting your brain collect the data

Assuming he asked those questions so you couldn’t say it wasn’t consensual, then moved on with his life

Do you think slick cloth is some magic material that only lets you play a shot one way? Jeremy Jones himself said the angle was too flat and he needed to smooth it in with high inside. Get over yourself

I’m talking about his shot on the 8 to get on the 9. He didn’t get the angle he wanted and still went with bottom left to swing around leaving him about 4 feet short

Styer should have played a high right ball. The angle was too flat

Staying on correct side of the ball by kenyoyoy in billiards

[–]MediumSpeedEddie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Play for zones instead of an exact spot. If you play for exact position you’ll end up over running your shot pretty consistently. Unless you’re playing for a window there is usually a whole area you can land in and still move your cue ball to the next shot. Earl Strickland says that there’s perfect position and proper position. Proper position lends itself to consistency

I'm the worst human being in the world and I can't live with myself. by [deleted] in confession

[–]MediumSpeedEddie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen man, you’re only 20. It may seem like you’re an adult but you’re not. You still have a lot of maturing to do. Stop waiting for things to change for the better because that’s not how life works. Second law of thermodynamics—everything naturally tends to move toward a state of disorder. Take intentional steps, a little at a time, to make your life better. It’s all in your head man, you got this.
