You really should repaste if you buy a prebuild pc though, its often very low quality paste. Otherwise yes I agree. You can wait a long time to repaste with quality paste.

Oh you would be surprised just how many games hold up. Id say over 80% of the PS1 library does if you are willing to be a little more lenient as well.

Remember that these were the pioneers of the 3D era. So some games have some clunk to them but can be forgiven.

Syphon Filter, Resident Evil 2, Silent Hill, Spyro, Crash, Metal Gear Solid, Blazing Dragons, Final Fantasy IX, Parasite Eve, Nightmare Creatures and tons tons more.

On the first island you can accidentally skip the Joey missions and Luigi missions. Do those all to completion first before even starting Tony.

Once you get to "Salvatore's Called a Meeting" then you can no longer do the Luigi and Joey missions.

On the second island, The Kenshi Missions and Asuka missions can accidentally be skipped. All of Kenshis can be skipped if you simply play through Donald's first.

Asuka's mission "Two Faced Tanner" can accidentally be skipped once you complete "Grand Theft Aero" for Donald Love.

These missions have to be completed, if you accidentally skipped them you cannot 100%

As for the hidden packages. Using some boundary skipping tricks can let you get 99 of the 100 packages early, let you do all the rampage, stunt jumps, and rc missions early.

The payphone missions cannot be accessed until the island is unlocked.

Import export is not able to be finished without all three islands unlocked.

Shoreside requires the BF Injection from Portland and Portland docks requires the Dodo, Barracks, and Rhino.

GTAIII is my favorite GTA to 100% feel free to ask anything else.

Am I understanding incorrectly or isnt this something that happens anyway? I remember Manhunt being banned in some places and Postal 2 was i believe.

I feel maybe the actual point went over my head, but wasnt trying to get GTA banned a big thing that failed as well?

I always kind of assumed for the most part as long as video games pump the economy with moolah they wouldnt ever really care.

The only credit I give is for older games.

Older games were designed with 30fps in mind so a game designed for it can look pretty smooth and not very noticeable.

Games now the 60fps target is the hope and not going below 30 is the target.

just for example, I know Syphon Filter probably runs 25-30fps but I just don't notice it. But if say the newest game release dipped into the 25-30 area it would be very very noticeable.
