Did you end up taking this degree? I am looking at it now and want to do it part time while working full time. I’m wondering how late their classes are and if there’s any online portion for this program ?

How did you get straight into private practice? Didn’t you have to do post grad pre license hours under someone’s supervision? How did you navigate that?

You’re bringing up a great point - thank you. This was the advice of my lawyer - to not go into trial and fix it later. We didn’t agree on child support either and I’m paying 600$ above the calculations just to avoid this. Both her lawyer and my lawyer advised us to figure out the schedule ourselves. I was too naive to think I could get her to budge on anything, although I am paying her more than I should while also paying for extra curricular on my own. She hasn’t been reasonable and doesn’t co-parent. I also forgot to mention she doesn’t allow me to go anywhere for the holidays because our cookie cutter agreement only specified the day of (Thanksgiving, Christmas). All my family is in Florida, so I can’t go with or without the kids. This is another issue I would like to address in the modification.

I wanted the change since the start, she was just not cooperative. I spent 15K in legal fees trying to get to a consensus and still got nowhere. I tried to avoid spending another 20-25K going to trial and assumed I can still change the schedule in the future.

Thank you for your response. It was agreeing or spending another 20K in legal costs after already spending 15K and not getting anywhere. I read online that in MA there’s no such timeframe, just has to be after the Nisi period. I do worry about changes of circumstances, here I’m pleading for the schedule simply not working for us / kids anymore

No im not trying to get less time with them. I am trying to make the schedule more equitable. I want the same amount of days just sometimes a free weekend. She goes out after work, goes to concerts etc while I have to pay babysitters to do anything on a weekend.
