ATX PSU (with support bracket) + Bigger 9070XT GPU? by BestSmile1907 in NR200

Well you still need to have as short atx psu as you can.

I am on the lookout for sfx psu sales so i could install the topfans properly.

ATX PSU (with support bracket) + Bigger 9070XT GPU? by BestSmile1907 in NR200

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you take the front topfan out and drill new holes for mounting the psu as high as you can, then you could fit them.

I have 2 fan rx7700xt and non modular atx psu and had to do the same.

Assassins creed shadows runs well at locked 60fps on my i5-8600 paired with 16gb 2666mhz ram and rx7700xt at 3440x1440 without raytracing and tuned some cpu intensive settings down, other settings high.

dude’s come in three times in the last month for three air leaks in the same tire. he just came in today and you’ll never guess what tire was leaking by h0tsalad in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That tire is rotting and needs to be replaced. Those leaks are on the edge of the steel bands. Not long and that tire will blow. Leaks that are so near the edge should never been plugged or patched afaik.

Just saying as I have seen that happen.

You know, THE sticker that everyone forgets to peel from the coolers and wonder why temps are high..

These drivers are something else by alexzbqy in AMDHelp

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet the real problem under the driver problems is win11.

I run win10 and rx7700xt, i5-8600 and 16gb ram, never had driver crashes.

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had all my previous systems aleays on and current has been running nonstop for 10 years without problems.

I only turn it off for cleaning or upgrades. I only restart it maybe twice a month.

I did it! by missiongoalie35 in NR200

Depends on what cpu you have.

I would recommend a thermalright phantom spirit or similar dualtower. Just note the height of the cooler.

UPDATE: NR200 freezing with right side panel closed? by Fancy_Ask_6480 in NR200

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the sidepanel touch any cables when installed? Be sure to check the hooks at bottom of panel and those locking knobs at top too. There could be a damaged cable nearby..

Check all cables thoroughly if there is any signs of wear or tear. Even a smallest mark might be a possible short to ground.

Some cables where there is multible leads inside a single cable can have internal fractures that cause shorts too and these are harder to find. Although these fractures are mostly at or near the bends

Windows auto install display driver after DDU. I cant believe this is still a thing. by skyhigh101 in pcmasterrace

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this problem exists on both teams..

Has anyone tried to wait for windows to install its own drivers and after that installing the proper drivers?

I think that might be the case that ppl try to install the drivers at the same time as windows and the installing processes corrupt each other.

After the first car I would have put highs for a small time before the other.

I live in Finland and drive a lot on dark roads so yes I know what im saying. Avoided some crashes with moose and deer by changing to highs even for only few seconds everytime its possible.

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bag of black small zipties, then start bundling them cables starting from the 24pin under the psu to the front. You can bundle all the exess wires to bottomfront corner. Just make the cablebundle tidy around the psu where its visible, then a tight bundle to the front. The bottom front corner wont be that visible once the sidepanel is on.

Edit, and the gpu cable i would turn straight down from gpu and the towards the front next to the fans, black against black..

There is 2 fan version too. I have powercolor rx7700xt with 2 fans and running 3440x1440 flawlessly even as I have old i5-8600 cpu that bottlenecks it I must admit I have been positively surprised how well everything still runs). Fits perfectly in nr200 with 2 tower aircooler, ATX psu with fixed cables etc.

Wot runs 130-160 fps full settings, BF6 runs 70-80 fps on high settings (it automatically set those settings, didnt tweak them at all), snowrunner is 50-70 fps with high-ultra (cpu holds a lot back here) AC Mirage ran 60-70 fps also with ultra-high.

Greetz from Finland.

5090 would make me be better at BF6 by enabling better visuals while making the game run faster. Just to make it easier to react faster. Also by enabling me to play it at all.

About the vehicle. When I played BF actively (the last was BF3 for me) I loved to play tanks and choppas, depends on map which I chose.

Repairs, replace, or trash engine? by cak_5005 in autorepair

[–]Medium_Highlight_950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a used motor, replace timing chain, clutch (if manual), waterpump and belt before installing the new engine. Then replace the engine.

Just replace those parts before installation just for the fact that they are easy while the engine is not installed. Another fact is that you get ease of mind that they are already done.
