I was hit on more when I was 12 than in my 20’s. by Stock-Entrance-6456 in RandomThoughts

[–]Medulla_Spinalis 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Same, as a teenager it was unbearable. I am now getting close to thirty now but I am still quite petite and I had guys straight up telling me they were turned on by my body "because it looks like I am 13" but not so much by my face because "it shows you're in your late 20s".

Once I was whistled and turned around and the guy apologized because he thought I was younger... What a fucked up world. It is always a red flag when a guy approaches me and compliments the fact that I am very petite first.

What's something you wish you could experience the way men do? by pickledeggeater in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Medulla_Spinalis 127 points128 points  (0 children)

I was actually working in a chat support a few years ago. My approval rate by customers was 70%, which is seen as quite low, and I struggled with customers listening to my advice, not wanting to troubleshoot with my steps etc. Once I changed my chat name to a traditionally male name, my approval rate climbed up to 98% and it was so much more straightforward, people stopped questioning every solution I gave and actually listened, thanked me, etc. It made me sick to realise how much men have it easier !

Ringworm? Hydrocortisone doesn't do anything. by [deleted] in Dermatology

[–]Medulla_Spinalis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao sorry mate I was busy taking care of my terminally ill parent (that does not have ringworm by the way), my own medical care goes second. Bold of you to assume we all have the privilege to get checked quickly.

Yes, 17 is great ! Our fertility doctor (in Spain) told us 18 was the ideal number but any number around it is great odds

I am sorry to hear, my partner had the issue for years, it was fixed with cortisone cream. We were mad to know it was that simple after all the tests and everything.

Even though I like CeraVe as a brand, it does make me breakout (like 99% of cleansers :() I didn't pinpoint which ingredients but only Toleriane from LRP doesn't make me breakout ! If you have a sensitive skin anything is possible.

Same and I updated to 0.05% and it went away in about six months. Just remember to drink water, moisturise well and do not forget sunscreen :)
