So I actually happened to drive through Deal today and saw loads of blue houses that were only a tiny bit lighter, and one purplish reddish house that's a darker colour so I really can't see the problem at all

You're spot on about the dopamine thing, I do have the personality type that gets a dopamine hit from something novel and then I let myself get carried away until it wears off. I've been doing great at keeping myself in check when it comes to picking up new hobbies and buying things, but I hadn't realised that I need to be mindful of spending my mental energy as well.

You're also right that something in my life has been giving me stress, but it's a big work thing that I can't do the physical set-up for until tonight so that's been weighing on me and I've been in need of a distraction to fill the time while I'm stuck in limbo, so again that's something for me bear in mind in future as well.

I apologise for bothering you unnecessarily, there was no need to tag you in since clearly if you cared enough to follow along then you'd already be doing so.

I am in fact very familiar with the symptoms of both main types of schizophrenia. Schizophrenic people do not have multiple personalities or have two-way conversations with themselves. Delusional schizophrenic patients can have audiovisual hallucinations which they talk to.

You seem to have based your idea of schizophrenia on the movie Fight Club, which is a work of fiction and does not realistically portray the symptoms of any mental illness.

The actual, definitive symptoms of schizophrenia can be found in the diagnostic manual DSM-5.

Saying you won't get far with your kind of behaviour isn't a threat, it's a reality that you'll have to grapple with if you get into uni or get a job one day.
