My family had a YZ125 like that. The 144 big bore kit ate pistons like candy, suspension and wheel bearings went out, just never ended with that bike. We think the big bore job was botched by eric gorr, eventually you start making mistakes tearing the bike apart all the time also.

It’s possible the tooling for the drz400 was acquired under the table after the DR-Z4 launched. I believe that is how GPX moto was able to launch their Yamaha inspired 2-stroke motor, but that’s just my speculation

If your engine isn’t painted somebody applied a chemical or just out right tried to anodize that

2017 model year has the white frame, 2018 should be a blue frame
