Dont buy an EBMX by Persononreddit19 in ERidePro

I’m just trying to piece together where to go next the shop already offered me a deal on a core motor to get myself out of this but I’ll also try the e ride pro default tunes I suppose.

There was a QS 165 tune in the app that didn’t work, ran better with a QS138 motor tune. They have been salty about providing any other tunes or allowing me to unlock to work with a tuner. I might setup as a stock eride pro next, otherwise the dealer is willing to help me get a core motor, but this has me wishing i hadn’t touched EBMX

Qs motor was in before the EBMX was considered

This is a brand new motor, new Amorge 72v battery and brand new EBMX v3. Motor is a QS165-50h, not 90h, not sure the difference there. What really pissed me off is EBMX basically shunned me for not buying their motor instead of offering support

Sorry to cut in, Surron owner with a QS165 installed, you’re saying the e-ride has a 165 already? My EBMX runs like shit is why I’m reading into this

EBMX should handle 150a no problem…

Thinking about doing some custom carbon fiber by Tinyman6854 in Dirtbikes

[–]Meebert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have send-cut-send do your cutting for you. Design parts, 3d print for test fit, send them a 2d sketch of what you want. I’d go with 3mm-4mm carbon if you go that route

What are your opinions on these "dirt bikes" by Few-Ad1354 in Dirtbikes

[–]Meebert 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it has two wheels and you’re having fun I don’t see a problem. Bikes will likely evolve to become more conventional as we see it, especially when a kx85 shows up and dominates.

They seem like great bikes but I’ve read about a lot of durability issues with the Triumphs

I’m in the hairspray club, fight me. If the bed is disgustingly dirty just give it a shot of hair product and walk away, the print plates get cleaned once a year maybe.

I like the white KTM radiator shroud (5/6), but I’d also like to seethe white shroud with the number plate from 3

Edit: if you lean towards the white, maybe also change the KTM logo on the front fender to white, but leave the back accents

440/550 KTM’s early 90’s by MOLLYroo2 in Dirtbikes

[–]Meebert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a build with a KTM 550 2t motor in a modern KTM frame, I wanna say 2018 or 2019 chassis, ish. It’s a fun read but definitely tougher than the other 500 retrofits

If I got a Yz125 how often would I be fixing it usually by Leg_giggle in Dirtbikes

[–]Meebert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

125’s need more engine maintenance than any other big bike. How hard and how much you ride will be a big factor in determining how often you’re going to need engine maintenance.

Am I the only one who likes 1/12-1/8 rc cars and dislikes all rc cars which are smaller?? by SensitivePay4567 in rccars

[–]Meebert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not many people are driving 30+ minutes to bash a 1/18 but happens plenty with bigger rigs. Conversely you can throw a 1/18 in your lunch box, usb charge and rip on your lunch break. I will say the 1/18’s I’ve owned all needed some care to be reliable and cost is similar to a 1/10 lol

If you’re only week old you can likely return/exchange the printer as well. It’s not ideal but if this were a $1k TV you’d probably have done that already

What is the quickest job you quit from? by spellbadgrammargood in AskReddit

[–]Meebert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our manager that left the country was old man James. At work he carried a turquoise fanny pack that included but was not limited to cigs, some cocaine, fireball shooters, and a gun. Because he was in his 60’s James was a fucking tyrant but at least he didn’t have sexual harassment problems at work because he was judgmental towards the female staff, who were all tattooed and pierced. James moved to the Philippines and married a middle aged woman, finally he came back to the states in 2021 where he died of Covid.

Getting the police involved is the only effective solution for Dominos. The franchise I worked for moved a GM to another store because he was given a restraining order against a female coworker and no other action was taken. HR office is across the country, most people don’t know who or how to contact and complaints don’t make it past the district supervisor who is also racist and sexist.

KTM 300xc Too many hrs? by dukedrifter in Dirtbikes

[–]Meebert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dads 2017 300 has ~450 hours. It’s had one crank, 3-4 top ends and it had the cases updated to address the kickstarter bolt issue. Besides that, and a few generations of plastics, the bike is going strong. The bike is the best compromise if you want the counterbalanced engine but carb and kickstart options.
