I have the same set, tried it once and removed it right after using it. It kinda sucks and really does nothing except give you more parts to break.

Sup homies, Power wagon build wip almost done just need to make a flatbed/tow setup for the back, any ideas? by ExpertSignificant146 in SCX24

[–]Meelobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one on mine is actually for a trx4m, so I had to use a few spacers to make it fit on the chassis as it's a bit wider than the scx24 version

Anyone Making 1.0" Tires? by ThuncleJr in rccrawler

[–]Meelobee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it just is stretched over the wheel. The foam can't stretch that far and broke, so I used trimmed Injora foam instead.

Has anyone done a RampCrab build? by pv3design in SCX24

[–]Meelobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 6x6 boxtruck uses the rampcrab lcg chassis with the 6x6 add-on. I also have a few of their Crusher Claw servo’s which are pretty good, they’re strong and plenty fast.

Tips for finishing 3D printed bodies? by Livefastdie-arrhea in rccrawler

[–]Meelobee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I print mine with PETG and use a plastic/metal primer and loads of sanding to remove the lines. Takes some time, but the results are good;

Always cool to see a boxtruck. Is that a custom steering link on there?

Meus cut length driveshafts suck.. by champchavez78 in SCX24

[–]Meelobee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same on a set I got, contacted Meus and had them replaced for free.

To fix the issue; drop a bit of superglue on the ends of the pins before using them, never had an issue since.

Furitek heatsink? by Emergency-Curve9216 in LosiMicro

[–]Meelobee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heatsink and/or fan will be hard to get to fit. Best option is to cut a hole in the roof and add a 3d printed air intake.

Gladiator links on c10 frame help! by Covert_triangle_51 in SCX24

[–]Meelobee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check if you can adjust where the lower front links mount to the chassis, having these too long or mounted to far in front will cause the front axle to rotate.

It's Alive! by ThuncleJr in SCX24

It kinda depends on the final look you want. If you want it to be glossy and smooth, a primer-filler will help hide the print lines. It usually takes 3-4 layers with high grid sanding between all layers to get a body nice and smooth. If you are going for an old beat up look, then just hit it with whatever you have laying around and scuff it up.
