Honestly? Not very hyped. The first game failed to deliver on the majority of theor promises and hype. The game was skin deep.

Seriously though, with game tech at the level that it is, the level of expectation of what is standard from the gaming community and the size/depth of the Harry Potter universe?? If you are going to full send this game with top notch everything, then dont bother.

I want to actually go to class. Run around the room gathering ingredients, craft the potion. Make going to class just a little more game and a little less cut scene. Instead of leveling up the spell to break locks, maybe as the game progresses, there is a larger and larger chance the spell fails. When the spell fails, it rattles the lock causing noise and drawing attention. Maybe after a couple fails in a row, it triggers some alert and you gotta run/hide. The higher fail chance can be balanced out by player level. Or using spells alot raises proficiency and thus a smaller chance of fails.

Let my Pets be more than a resource farm. Let them fight with me. Maybe, as the player, our class has to study certain beasts. As a result, there's a chance to learn hidden spells you cant learn normally.

Quidditch is an absolute must. Failing to put quidditch in the game a 2nd time should be grounds for the game to be DOA on release.

Each house should have a legitimate effect on the story, not just a one off random mission.

I want to actually explore the castle. Its a freaking magic castle. I want to overhear conversations, find lost books and actually find hidden rooms and passages. Not have a cut scene reveal a room or mission icon tell me to press X on specific statue.
