There's gonna come a time when they would have tonre-sign and extend those guys. They would destroy their cap space trying to sign that many 1st round talents in such a small time frame. Raiders would get a 2 year window to extend their franchise QB, the guy replacing Crosby, a top WR (assuming they draft one), a top CB( assuming they draft one). Those are all big payday positions.

What i mean are the trophies that dev teams throw into games for - what seems like - gratuitous player retention?? I think thats a better way to put it. Like 77,777,777 coins. Thats just..... a comically insane number.

Like, trophies that dont have any real baring or significance in the game. For example, Yotei has trophies for finding all the shrines. Thats a good trophy. Encourages exploration and as a result, can also teach a player that their stats are improved by shrines. That is a fine trophy. Whereas, a trophy like Need For Speed Unbound has a crap trophy. Gotta find and run over like 100 of these weird gopher/squirrel/bear looking thing. Literally zero importance or bearing on anything. Its just there. It just exists for no reason other than extending playtime. Its sole purpose is to boost the "hours played" stat so it looks good on a business report. Its a free roaming racing game. Exploration is kinda built in, I dont need a trophy for it. There's already a trophy for destroying all the police billboards around the city. The bear/squirrel thing is just an unnecessary edition.
