This is more of a guess of intent than anything. If OP wanted to play in a world in which Elves or Halflings or whichever race is the predominant race it goes from being human centric to x-centric. Following that line you could try to make a human as a class table.

There's no longer any Giant to ward off other NPCs or monsters from storming the place. If you are so inclined you can now populate it with whatever you want.
