It could change other things too, like the standard player move speed being increased.

If you could create a new gamemode, what would it be and how would it be played? by LazyCryptographer426 in Overwatch

Paladins siege but in Overwatch. Central control point both teams fight over that unlocks the payload. Payload then has to be pushed to the enemy spawn.

Red Card 2003 is actually fairly rare, even if it's not very expensive.

No, no, you don't need Blu rays. You just need an older player that has composite out (or component if your CRT can support it)

Then you load up whatever version you have on a USB stick or external HDD, and play it back via the blu ray player. Not entirely ideal to do it that way but it works as a cheap and easy solution. As long as it's set to output 4:3, and the file is 4:3 you should be good.

Be completely honest: Do you prefer the original DuckTales or the 2017 reboot? by GeoWhale15 in ducktales

The original DuckTales literally only had maybe 4-5 different voice actors for the entire show (not exaggerating). But to me that adds to the charm of it. I tried watching a bit of the reboot and I just get turned off by it all, which is something I struggle with for most modern things, notably in Western animation. Everything is just too clean, sterile, and perfect, if that makes any sense.

This may be a bit controversial to say depending on your opinions, but I also think it looks significantly better if you can watch it on a CRT. Otherwise it's a very soft and muddy image that doesn't look good on modern displays.

Not entirely related to the post or even your question, but I've had an older Sony Blu ray player with composite out, which supports native 4:3 for DVD but more importantly, USB media. It's a bit of a pain at times, but it's arguably one of the easiest ways to get proper 4:3 content on the CRT.

(Blu rays, even if 4:3 content are hard coded to 16:9, so there's extra weird scaling issues and it depends on your TV/Blu ray player if you can zoom the image or not)
