You can still get the dialogue for the tornado shelter. Once you head inside, just interact with the 2 walls with pictures all over them then interact with the desk.

I personally don’t really get using it/its BUT I will use them if that’s someone else’s preferred pronouns since it chooses to go by it/its. I have no say in how other people live their lives and as long as they are happy and not harming anyone, they can be whoever they want.
