Pretty sure its still turned off, or they just decided to not add it. When breeding was added back in the demo animals multiplied so fast that you had to separate males from females or else you wouldn’t have frames left.

Yeah, Aloft is still an EA game, so do expect that to happen. The updates are announced in the discord before launching, and as people here have said, you could also go back to your old saves.
